Every Sun. in the 60's my dad would take us for a drive in the car just to see the scenery. We would turn on WDRC which was a Top 40 station at the time but is not a station any more and they would play this song. That was my idea of Groovin'. Dad passed in 2017 but I still remember those simpler times and this song. When I told Felix about it on his web site, he said it was a nice memory of my dad and his song. That just made my day!

The band that started it all for me. The grooves, the vocal harmonies, the melodies, These cats from New Jersey had it all. As a kid a got the chance to see them on the Ed Sullivan show, which on the east coast where I lived aired on Sunday nights at 8:00pm. How fortunate to still have these guys around making great music, and rekindling great old memories for those of us that loved them in the mid 1960's and we still do today. There's so substitute for great music. Thanks Rascals!

We saw The Rascals at Mohegan Sun last Friday night. The original four rocked out for 2 hours to the blue eyed soul sounds of the 60's. In the middle of the British invasion they survived with their Groovin', Good Lovin', I've been lonely too long and many others that brought us back to our youth for a while. "How can I be sure" fit the moment perfectly. I sent the 45 rpm record to my then girlfriend. Now she has been my wife for the last 42 years. Thank you Rascals!!!!

Felix Cavaliere's voice is still extraordinary and the gorgeous, harmonies are a joy. This band is the epitome of class. And the guitar solo by Jerry Riggs is blistering...jazzy, soulful and tinged with harder edge at the same time. This is a masterclass in how the greats do it!
