holy cow!!! Felix still sounds great! I have sooo many memories of the '60's, growing up with the Rascals and all the great groups and singers from that decade! Thank God I was born in 1948 so i could live through those wonderful times!

Felix is a local hero to us. His dad was my dad's dentist. My older brother's band was in awe of him. My husband, who is now a music teacher and still plays keyboards in local bands, is from that 'little town' of New Rochelle which is the next town over from where we still live and where Felix is from - Pelham, NY.

Recently I discovered Felix out of curiosity about him. A guy that I met, Jim Pike mentioned him many times. I searched his name this week and found “The Rascals”. As my search continued, I found song after song chalked with memories of my childhood days in the 60s. I remember proudly walking down my Southern California sidewalk with my transistor radio in hand. Mixes in those days were influenced to make music sound good on this popular new music media. It was the iPod of its day. Even today, I get goosebumps just thinking about it. Thank you Felix and all of the Rascals for being an embedded part of my life that I somehow had forgotten.

I just read an article in Google News by some clown who said the Rascals didn't deserve to be in the RR HOF. He said they only had a couple of good songs. I really couldn't believe it. I have 3 degrees in music, which doesn't mean I know anything, but honestly, a couple of good songs? We had the greatest hits album when it came out. I was just a sixth grader, but I still love every song on that double album. Those two gorgeous voices, the great drummer who played like a jazz pro, the guitarist and organist. All first-rate musicians. They don't get the credit they earned. So much of the pop music of the eighties and nineties seems stale to me now. The Rascals are timeless.
