Coming from a country where traffic is extremely chaotic, we really need this exaggerating form of testing for everyone's safety.

@@harrybrown4952 I agree. But there are things that rely on the judgment of the examiner. I failed my test once at a temp traffic light because some guy was trying to cross it on his bike and I had to hit the breaks because I would have hit him otherwise. The examiner said that was a serious and failed me. What is it if I hit the boy? You cant argue with them, it’s their word against yours and you’re not going to be believed anyways.

Congrats on passing! I can see a lot of people say about passing is down to how nice the examiner is too. Mine wasn’t too friendly 😂 but I spoke to him and was being interested in what he was saying and I think it helped plus it made me feel less nervous because he was a ‘normal’ person!

I enjoyed my driving test. I was like if I fail oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️ (I passed, 1 minor). But I think the whatever happens, happens attitude relieves the nerves. Examiner even said I looked confident lol but I wasn’t inside.

Pressing the clutch pedal makes the car go faster so you shall only press it to slow down before you change gears. The only instance where you press the clutch before you brake is if you're going under 10 mph.

6:33 On test even overtaking other cars can become problematic. They sometimes speed up to the limit or beyond as you try to go by. This means you have no reasonable options available. In the scenario on the video the car ahead might be staying slow until after the speed camera then later give it some welly.
