And what about male circumcision - it is also child abuse.

There is a supermodel from Sudan named Imani, she underwent fgm at age 12. She said even though she escaped Sudan and made it to the UK, her urine came in drips,and menstruation was almost unbearable. She was later able to afford corrective surgery so that her body could work as nature intended,but she still bears the emotional scars.My heart goes out to the girls forced to endure a practice not sanctioned by the Holy Bible or the Holy Qu'ran,and is so very detrimental,and indeed in some cases life threatening, to them. May this barbaric practice end soon.

proud2bpagan she can pee normally now, but she also reported in the Same book that she sleeps with her husband only to "feel close to him" but doesn't experience any form of orgasm. and she never will. you can't replace the nerve endings once they're gone.

Issa Hussein I personally don't believe in killing as you become like the people they re practicing FGM. The tolerance of the government is the reason people keep practicing FGM. The United Kingdom should take an example from other governments and how they regulate such practices. Radical ideology and behaviors don't belong in Europe these people are bringing the mindset and practices from their own country. Unfortunately being politically correct isn't always the right thing to do in order to protect the citizens.

George Manus that so truth! Because I know one of my friend who suffers from this, she’s very beautiful girl but each time men see her to her as their wife once they know that she’s a victim of FGM they never call her back.

Is'nt it wierd how the 2 muslim women sit there and catagorically state that there is NO reason,NO example in their holy book which supports or advocates FMG, yet it is being continually being carried out by their brothers and sisters on their daughters. It makes not 1 iota of difference whetehr its in their book or not. Fact is? it IS being committed and forced upon by young girls of that faith and quite frankly, for the 2 women to sit there and ONLY say that it is not part of their religion/book? is simply a cop-out!

1wannabee1 they are allowed to lie in their religion.. it's part of the religious beliefs of Islam. it's morally ok to.lie to infedels if you're out numbered.

@@sissyrayself7508 You are not allowed to lie as and when you please. General lying and dishonesty is not allowed in Islam. However, if you life is at risk due to your religious beliefs, then you are allowed to verbally denounce any link to religion, whilst still believing in God in your heart. It is only an act to save one's life, and is to be done with utmost discretion.

Just because the large majority practice a ritual does not mean it is sanctioned by the religion. The majority of FGM descends from cultural habits, hence the commonality throughout Africa and parts of the Middle East, and certainly not from the Quran.
@fritnat5 жыл бұрын
@@Ahmed____ Well as long as they say it does for them, then who are you to say otherwise? Religion is part of culture and circumcision både male and female, along with scarification oand other body modifications are in their origins surely laced with religion. The commonality is in fact ancient prehistoric african culture from before mankind migrated out of the continent and an historic import of this into present day jewish and islamic religious culture. Jewish culture never adopted the female variation either from its african roots or from other cultures it coexisted with. How does you explanation work when native populations of girls in Pakistan, India, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines who are victims all are muslims irrespective of the dominant culture in their country? How do you explain that in every culture practicing female circumcision, male circumcision is also practiced? Are you also claiming that male circumcision is not religious, it isn't mentioned in the Quran either?

i was in psychiatry for two months because i was walking in capital and was telling to people it is not ok to cut skin from male penesis but now i know it is ok and once i said it is like women dont have skin on clitoris but i know it is not same.
@madpenguin94028 жыл бұрын
My biggest concern is are you walking in the capital of London UK and speaking about practices going on abroad? Because if you are then you have taken psychiatry services away from people like me (born in London) who arn't getting the support they need. If this happened in England it just goes to show how the NHS prioritise foreigners compared to the people born here and paid in all their lives. I am not happy with the NHS. They need jailing and reprimanding. They are a disgrace to the foundation of medicine and care.

Routine Infant Circumcision, (RIC), removes approximately 50% of the penile skin system, more than 50% of the nerve endings, and because of the specialized nature of the nerve endings removed from the functional end of the penis, it is estimated that 75 to 80% of the sensory input from the penis is lost. The foreskin, which is still fused to the glans, is separated, (ripped) from the glans, rendering the normally internal organ external, leaving it scarred, to dry out, toughen, (keratinize), and lose sensitivity. The foreskin is the mechanism that accommodates the increased length and girth of the penis in erection, because this is removed, hairy scrotal and pubic skin commonly covers the lower part of the erection in the RIC'd man. The normal interaction and stimulation between the foreskin and the glans is gone, completely changing the mechanics of sex for both the RIC'd man, and his sexual partner

+urdrem1 and there's surely some psychic effect that lasts a lifetime.... baby or not, it doesn't mean the trauma isn't imprinted in memory or other such "storage" in the brain. Not to minimize the topic herewith, a humorously speculative question was once posed as to how men feel towards mum (and of course females in general) after such a cruel experience.
@andromedadelux7 жыл бұрын
Theres only actually a few rare scenarios where even Male Circumcision is actually a good thing. And it mostly has to do with the actual foreskin covering too much of the urinary space to where it makes it difficult or in some cases impossible for the baby to urinate, causing infections and other difficulties. As in the foreskin develops in a closed fashion making surgical removal necessary through circumcision. Its rare when it happens but it does happen. As well as other surgeries used to fix urethra's in males when they are babies that may also produce complications down the line such as torsions and other odd twists. While its more common for males to have issues in the department of needing surgery as a baby to fix they are still rare, the issues for females are the least common, but in comparison incredibly rare. TLDR its only ok and usually from males if there is a developmental problem that poses a health risk.

Of course it is different. Male circumcision and female circumcision is different. Male circumcision is about the male genital, Female circumcision is about female genital.
