I mean seriously, it is just unfortunate that the ladies in the comment section are bashing other women that were never taught these things. This is why some women are too afraid to reach out to ask. Some ladies were never taught. Just because you were, does not mean everybody has been. Nobody knows it all unless someone points it out or they run across videos/information. Exactly and the lack of body positive and sex positive talk starts from such a young age too. I know so many parents aren’t even willing to use the word vagina in a talk with their children and it just gets worse with age when those young girls are made to feel like vaginas are dirty and need all these special washes and wipes to keep them “fresh” and they have no one to talk to that will tell them otherwise.

It's embarrassing to not have been taught from a young age to do simple things like brush your teeth twice a day or shower every day, but it's literally something I had to learn. Now that I'm almost an adult, there's no excuses to not understand basic hygiene so stuff like this helps!

Two more tips from my own experience: 1. on the vg breathing - I've noticed that some hair in that area actually allows more air access, it leads the extra sweat away from your skin and prevents the direct contact with the underwear which can cause extra moisture buildup or friction. So if it is more comfortable for you (every vg is uniquely shaped) don't listen to those who say it is more hygienic to fully shave there or that it would stink if you let it grow, it is simply not true. Don't let anybody shame you for your body hair. Your head doesn't stink because you have hair, same with vg, just keep up the hygiene. 2. If you do not sweat much naturally or if you have sensitive skin or allergies, try out those natural deodorants instead, the mineral ones that look like a rock. I know they are a thing in India, but you can probably find them in the US too. It was a quality of life change for me. No more white stains on clothes or annoying chemical smells that want to prevail over my perfume lol

when I was younger, married, and having children, I also kept the vg area hair-free, for various reasons. My ob/gyn asked me about it, why I did that. We talked about it, and she said she'd noticed that women who removed or trimmed their pubic hair tended to have fewer infections. Well, maybe it was the trimming/shaving, maybe it wasn't. Maybe it was the unAmerican habit (but the rest of the world has) of washing the area with water after using the toilet. I started doing this when still a teenager, did not know another soul who did this, and I felt like a freak. But I didn't want to go through the day with dry pee, or dried nastier stuff, on me because paper alone doesn't do the job. Now, there are wet wipes and other methods, seems keeping clean has caught on. I actually had a friend shame me when I told her that I washed -- "Eewww! That's disgusting!" So much for sharing with friends.

@@ig3815 I’m a woman in my late 40’s. I tried 1 tube of the Coconut Crush Lume deodorant after reading an article about Lume’s maker, whom is a female gynecologist. This was several years ago. I now keep 3 separate tubes at all times, for my daughter, son & myself. Each has their preferred scents. Let me tell ya, this stuff is amazing! It can safely go anywhere on the body, underarms, feet, down below (made by an OBGYN to be safe) & even around back if you really want to make the most of it. Lol If applied normally, after showering & drying off, there will be NO smell, nomatter if you workout, go camping, or go for a summer walk. This product was tried & was 💯 proven effective as our kids went through their hormonal teen years. My husband is stubborn & likes his old antiperspirant, but the 3 of us are Lume for life! However, It does not keep you from sweating, only from smelling. Another tidbit of female info, there is a trend of using daily boric acid suppositories to keep PH balanced. They’re sold over the counter at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart & on Amazon. However, I would ask a professional for their opinion with that one before trying.

For all the lady’s out there that have a hard time balancing everything down there it’s not always super simple. Sometimes people are more prone to having yeast infections or BV and unfortunately minor things can set it off. Sometimes the issue stems from other less obvious causes. Definitely would recommend all of these tips though! And if you do have issues, go see your doctor and get it take care of, it happens all the time to so many woman! Take not of what is normal for you in smell and consistency and base everything around that! 😘

Omg your so right! The V needs to breath! I’m in my mid 40s and as a young female we were taught to douche! Big mistake because it misses with you Natural PH balance and can lead to BV! Bacterial Vaginosis...chronic BV at that! I suffered with it for a while and it’s so embarrassing because it’s a has horrible odor and I didn’t know what was going on with me. I became so self conscious that I was showering 3 times a day and using more and more soaks and shower gel! I kept requesting me DR to test me for every STD and all the results can me back negative .. it wasn’t until I finally had an appointment with the a head gynecologist at St Thomas’ in London and and he finally diagnosed me. I did my research, changed my diet, started taking probiotics and stopped wearing liners which I used to do every day.. I also learned that BV is so common but a lot of women don’t even realize what’s wrong with them. That being said there are so many factors that can lead to bad odors such as diet, sperm and even condoms! I can happily say I’m BV free and I only wear underwear when I leave the house. Women need to have more open conversations about feminine hygiene.

Some tips for lady bits: 1) Use personal shaver to trim outer lips, especially areas closest to genitals (fluids) 2) To freshen up-keep a small cup in the bathroom to fill and rinse area while on toilet- water is great, but you can put a drop of vinegar or massage a lil soap (outer area only) then pour water over area. Pat clean from front to all the way back with tissue 3) try using a menstrual cup-no tampons if possible. 4) If odor seems off throughout the month, insert a boric acid tablet at night. 5) Urinate before and after sex 6) whenever possible, go panty free so she can breathe! Hope this helps someone 🙂

Matching the thickness of your socks to the activity you plan for the day is also important for keeping your feet comfortable, if hiking wear thick socks, if just lounging around wear thin socks.

The thing is that it is unnatural to not small at all, bc the toxins that is what we call sweat need to come out of the body and it means toxins are staying i. The pores and the bacteria that is living in those areas of the body is what we call that bad odor, so I suggest you to check it I had same thin initially but it turned out that my pores were blocked, also there is a big difference between antiperspirant and deodorant, the words and names for both are pretty self-explanatory,

Nice video with great tips 👍🏽. 1-No underwear also at home period and i wear dresses to make it easier 2 - when i pee always use clean water (even within a toilet paper if necessary ) to rinse the excess pee from on vagina before using toilet paper to dry it. I Don't use the intimate wipes as they're full of chemicals and to me unnecessarily expensive as they don't provide the freshness water always gives. 3- i stopped using deodorants for years now. I've replaced deodorants with natural slices of lemon rubbed again my armpits. Works like magic. No bad odeur, natural, healthy and way cheaper. One of the best decisions of my life. I spray perfume rather on my clothes to avoid my skin to absorb the toxic chemicals perfumes contain (yes even the most expensive ones). Also it stays longer.

I don’t want to offend anyone or seem superior, but I’m so thankful for being a Muslim. Cleanliness is an important part of our belief. Both men and women, we all have to wash ourselves down there each and everytime we’ve been on the toilet - and believe me there will be no odor whatsoever when you wash yourself with just pure water every time. No soap or anything, just water (and yes, you need to use your hand [we use left only] to rub off the dirt while pouring the water). We wash our feet (as well as face, arms, ears, nose) at least five times a day when making the ablution before performing each of our 5 daily prayers. I didn’t start to pray until 7 years ago, and I’d have smelly feet too every now and then due to not washing my feet. Now that I wash them 5 times a day I haven’t had smelly feet for once - I can’t remember that it’s happened for the last 7 years. As Muslims we can also let our hairs down there and in armpits grow to a certain length only (about 6-7 millimeters) before we have to shave it, which prevents the occurence of odor and other undesirable things.

One interesting thing I’ve experienced (regarding stinky shoes/feet) is that the materials my shoes and socks are made of makes a huge difference (all other aspects staying the same, including washing my feet proper and cleaning between the toes with every shower). If I wear synthetic material shoes, nothing will stop them from eventually stinking, but my shoes made of wool and leather, are staying stink free, even the ones that are a number of years old. I expect my moose hide Mukluks to last for the rest of my lifetime (note that I live in a place with very cold winters).

I grew up with a lot of those points and learned some along the way... It's still amazing to see how many people aren't aware of even basic things they can do for good hygiene maintenance. The one thing I would note though, is that Antiperspirant is different to Deodorant. Unfortunately the former is heavily marketed to women so much so that it can be sometimes difficult to find Deodorant - and when you do it's a pretty penny. But worth your health. The Aluminum found in Antiperspirants can cause infections, which can result in the needed removal of the infected glands... Another note, dentists say the bacteria on your tongue is different to that on your teeth. So it's good to invest in some sort of tool to help with cleaning the tongue. Sometimes you can even find tongue scrapers in your local dollar store - don't forget to sterilize ;).

Important information I'm not put deorant down their in college my history or science Perfessor taught us and show us how cancer comes from putting feminine sprays and deorant down in our private area. The products has cancer causing chemical in them. Even the feminine wipes too!!! Many soaps, so you have to reach natural soaps and just water. My professor said that many women/ female's/ ladies/ girls spend all the time all their lives using those products to keep them smelling good and end up dying from cancer, because of the cancer causing chemicals in those products and be stinking when they die because of them. Dove products and many other brands has cancer causing chemicals in them. www.ecowatch.com/study-finds-cancer-causing-chemical-in-nearly-100-shampoos-and-soaps-1881792299.html

Your body doesn’t need deodorants as stated that have aluminum and other fragrances, etc. Your body should detox these, and the only way to do so is eating healthy, and using deodorant that is natural, or not wearing deodorant at all. This is good in promoting healthy breasts as well, since aluminum is known for causing cancer. Be aware everyone that everyone’s body is different, and do what works best for you. For example, my feet don’t sweat! But I do wash my feet in the shower. Just do it in the safest way possible to make you and your body as healthy & as happy as possible! 💕

I just came across this video and agree with all your techniques.. the washing of shoes is so important and when it comes to insoles/padding if they aren’t removable make a spray bottle 80/20 of white vinegar and water and spray it very well until completely saturated to absorb odors, kill any fungus, bacteria, deodorizes, plus cleans them well especially up in the hard to reach area (toe section) I’ve done this for years and still to this day with my daughters shoes and they’ve played many sports so let me tell you I’ve had my experience with sweaty shoes lol. Second laundry hack for females with your panties use peroxide spray on all your panties before washing as well as 1/2 cup of white vinegar in wash to make sure they are clean, fully deodorized plus also works as natural softener…sometimes if your sensitive skin laundry detergents and fabric softeners can cause you issues and this way nothing is trapped in the stitches of the material.

Just wanted to mention to only wash your shoes if they are washable. Antimicrobial shoe spray will be helpful to reduce bacteria and fungus that can build up on the inside and outside of the shoes. Make sure the shoes are completely dry before wearing them. Very helpful video!
@jader26294 жыл бұрын
Hey there, nice video :). So good for wellbeing to have good self care. Things I have personally found helpful are... Rubbing alcohol or vodka sprayed inside shoes semi regularly is great, kills bacteria and odour. Antiperspirant spray on feet works well especially when wearing work shoes all day etc. Invisible ones aren’t as powdery. Dry between toes! I actually wedge some tissues between my toes for a few minutes after showering whilst I’m putting lotion on but I get that this is maybe a bit extra 😄. Coochie routine consistent but minimal. Coconut oil or plain warm water for coochie washing (not inside). Travel bidet or unfragranced wipes between showers once or twice during the day. Don’t overdo it as this can cause infections. Towels can be used about three times or even up to seven (though I don’t)from what I’ve read. The main thing is letting them dry out properly between uses :). Oxygen bleach (oxi powder). I buy pure stuff online. A little bit keeps towels and bedding white, removes blood stains, helps kill bacteria but is skin safe. Probiotics to prevent thrush. Ironing gusset of knickers after thrush etc. Ultradex mouthwash. Not very strong tasting. Cancels out sulphuric smells. Lightly brush your gums (run your brush over them very gently) when you brush your teeth. Air clothing in an airing cupboard after drying / when slightly damp if you have one. Clothes smell fresh. Helps with creases. Capsule wardrobe / nice loungewear during lockdown eg jersey midi dresses. Pretty and presentable but literally as comfortable as PJ’s.

Always wash your vagina with water only. Do not put soap, bath products or bath and body works in your vagina. Your butt crack can use a little soap. Dove soap is the best. You can use Acidophilus to help with yeast and discharge. You can buy at Walgreens or CVS in the vitamin section. Most times discharge comes from something getting in the vagina that shouldn't be there. Diabetes, different sex partners, detergents and soaps are most causes. If you have smelly discharge it could be something a doctor needs to check out. If you only use water on your wash cloth you will start to notice no smell or discharge. Last thing, Remember hair causes odor. I bought some regular hair clippers and I use it to keep the hair shaved down. Hope this helps someone.

I hope many women see this. I have known these tips for a long time now but many women do not. I also use a hair dryer down there when i get out of the shower. I have been doing it for years. I have heard of MANY men complain that their past women have stunk like a "dumpster". Not my words theirs. I know it probably hurts, but it is not fair for the men or whoever you are with to smell that. I tell them they should not smell that bad. Either they need to clean up the diet or go get checked. It is not to say you will not ever have a smell or sweat but you can significantly reduce odor to none for most of the time. Diet is so so important. If you are constantly eating fried, fast food and processed food and not drinking water you are probably going to have issues. I eat pretty healthy but need to clean it up even more like I had it before. When i am dehydrated my husband can tell because i can taste tart. Not really smell much because my diet is clean but tart. Once i hydrate with water, that goes away completely. Also, if you use baby wipes after using tp that helps as well however do not use antibacterial wipes! You can mess up your ph and that can caise yeast infections. Use ones without scent. Also, wash your bottom daily even if you do not bath or shower daily. If you workout you might have to do it more often. This is not to say you can never enjoy junk food but you need to significantly dial it back and load up on water. Also, make sure you are changing your pads and tampons frequently! Underwear change at least daily. I usually wear 2 pair. At night after i shower i wear 1 (cotton) and in the morning when i get dressed i put on a different pair and wipe off with a warm rag if i feel like i need it. More than your vagina will thank you! 🙂

I sweat heavily and have sensitive skin, and for me it works better to wear cotton or other wicking fabric underwear than sleep commando. Sweat trapped between skin surfaces can linger for hours while sleeping, causing irritation and infection risk, but cotton fabric absorbs moisture off my skin and lets it evaporate quickly.

Bamboo!!! Bamboo socks, panties, and sheets and pillowcases are amazing, very cooling and moisture wicking. I believe theres some natural anti bacterial thing happening as well, though im by no means an expert. Since i switched to bamboo cotton blend panties, socks (especially lil sports peds, like you wear with trainers or Chucks) and especially sheets, its a notable improvement in dryness and cooling. I may from time to time break out the silky lingerie, but for day to day, ill never go back.

I just ordered the bamboo sheets and pillows. Next payday, I will purchase the pillow cases and maybe another set of sheets. Heard so many good things on Bamboo, I have to try!!
