No. It's not about not being able to do it. We can all do everything. But we will be stretched so thin and we will lose all the patience to be a mother. It leads to irritability and impatience towards children and home. And so on the other hand we expect men also to take care of children. They can do it. But BIOLOGICALLY men don't have the nurturing side to them. So if women do what's NATURALLY in tune with them and men do what is NATURALLY their nature. The society as a whole will be a much more balanced place in my opinion. But the ONLY thing that needs to change is that society should NOT look down on women just because they are home. That's what actually needs to change here.

A man has to have emotional intelligence to support their women? I don't disagree with that completely, but doesn't a women also have to take some self-responsibility to take care of her emotions too and be a bit more logically minded? A wife should be a mature adult not a child, we aren't babysitters for our spouses 😂 A relationship isnt about counting how much he or she paid for grocies on Tuesday or for the cinemas on Friday but it's about equal commitment and effort in the areas that nature gave us our individual strengths. Feminism first went wrong with it's name. If it wanted "equality" it should've called itself "Equalism", but it's undoubtedly a supremacist movement. If anyone disagrees with it, they aren't fully educated on it or they're lying to themselves. This woman in the video is absolutely correct, it's ruined society. I do agree, that legally steps have to be taken to curb 'toxic feminism'. Too much of anything is bad, even if it is feminism. But, on a broader perspective, feminism is not just about giving the option to females to have 'traditionally muscular' traits like being ambitious, strong, self dependent, etc., it is also about giving males the option to have 'traditionally feminine' traits, like being allowed to cry, not having forced to be provider, being allowed to be vulnerable. Also, on the legal part, some actions are yet to be done for both genders, like acknowledging marital rape, irrespective of gender. Also, males have to be supported if they are victims of sexual abuse. For me, feminism is equality irrespective of gender. I don't believe that any one gender is superior to the other.

I feel, you are very much against feminism. If you are against 'toxic feminism', then I do agree with you, but if you are against feminism, then your hatred is not okay. If you feel that feminism has done nothing to men, then just tell me, if feminism did not exist, would you and your 'bros' be able to do emotional conversations, or at the first place, would you be ever able to confront yourself emotionally? Celebration of men's day, increase of emotional intelligence in men, basically acceptance of men's feelings and acceptance that they can be weak, they can cry, even if it is by a small fraction of society, would have never been possible without feminism. Feminism is not just about women's financial independence rights, it is also about men's emotional rights. Men have started accepting their emotional vulnerability in front of society, because women have started accepting such men. Today, there are some high quality women, who don't crave for 'Macho' men, but crave for 'emotionally intelligent' men, who are ready to accept their strengths and weaknesses. Emotional intelligence is the biggest and the most important product of feminism to the modern society, which saw expression of emotions as weak. Due to feminism, women are being represented in media. And women are more comfortable with their emotions than men. Hence, expression of emotions is gradually being normalised in our society.

Such as being gifted easy access to collage when they are already over represented. Of coarse there are worse examples Furthermore men are not being liberated by gender rolls due to feminism and in fact the reverse is true. Men are still expected to fight and protect , pull woman's hair, out to due the men's jobs, pay the bills and pay for the first date. Now the reason why men put up with this is because to an extent we love to do these thing because we love woman! We complain because men want respect for what we do when we do it. @akfootballforever7 ай бұрын
No offense maybe your heart is in the right place but you seem to not know the meaning of feminism. This is not me attacking you, just hoping you're genuinely interested in the truth and facts. Feminism was never about equality, it was always about "female empowerment" , feminism was never about inclusivity, it was always a group exclusive to female gender. Sure, there are so many different "variations" to feminism, it almost seems like every person has their own definition of feminism but the founding message of feminism was put women in positions of power and to empower women and take power away from the "man", sure at the time alot of men supported the movement of feminism because they advertised it as helping women with gender based violence and discrimination which was not true, it was called the women's suffrage movement , you should read more into women's suffrage movement. And since so many people seem to define feminism according to their own standards and requirement, if you are proud to be a feminist and as you quote "everyone should be a feminist" , do you not think it is your responsibility as a good or in your case "authentic" feminist, to take the time to define feminism and provide clarity while you take the time to comment that someone does not know the meaning of feminism? Also, from next time stop saying someone is making gibberish statements when they speak in a clear and concise manner, that really does not help your case. If you disagree with someone (which is fine), you should articulate why you disagree with him/her without making ad hominem attacks, just something for you to keep in mind next time you type a comment on the interweb. And my intention with my comment here is, I want people to have a respectable, well articulated discussion or debate or comments because that's what will help make the best possible decision for find middle ground. We don't need more division, dont play into people's divide and conquer strategies, there's a secret war going on, don't fall for their traps. Because if you make a well articulated clear point and it's fair, people will be like you know what she makes a fair point here and change their mind and if it's not fair, and they give a clear reason why they disagree , then maybe you can be like, you know what maybe I was wrong and maybe I did not have a clear understanding of what I was supporting. Because you sound like you want equality, in which case you're not a feminist, unless you're emotionally attached to the word feminist and you don't want to let it go because you feel like it's part of your identity, which is understandable

9 to 5 is messing with women’s body, true. But being nurturer or being a house wife is looked down in our society. How many house wives are celebrated as much as a CEO of a company? House wives do not get respect in our society, they are said ‘you just work at home and nothing while i as a man , i go to office and earn, you do not have much contribution’. Women are prioritising getting financial independence before being a mother because that’s how they will get equal respect as men. Just Being a mother will not earn as much respect to them, (not even from their husbands and kids. Look around yourself and tell how many kids and husbands are proud of their wives being a home maker?). So for women to take nurturer jobs over other jobs, first provide them the respect they deserve as a home maker, make her feel she is equally contributing to home by cooking meal for everyone and taking care of children, then the society will come to equilibrium.

Yes, women can do 9 to 5 jobs but after a point if stress increases it affects her body. If a man and woman works till late say 12 hours in a day with that work pressure, that man will be tired but after getting sleep next day he will be good as new. But for woman handling that much stress, it will affect her hormones, if sleep cycle is disturbed due to stress she will face problems like PCOD PCOS. This is a story of many working women today. Definitely a woman can do corporate job as good as man or maybe better but when it comes to stress, it affects her health. This is a fact today, many doctors are saying they get patients who are working women with problems related to their periods, pregnancy and the main cause here is stress from job. These can be solved doing yoga, meditation and following good lifestyle but my point is women need to take care of their health more than men. Work pressure beyond certain levels do affect women’s health.

Today's women preferred to be single and childfree around the globe though they may want a relationship, often because male partners are not stepping up to provide the basics of a marriage and also live up to their responsibilities as husband, friend and father. They cannot digest the idea of being a responsible gentleman by default. Lack of basic qualities such as respect, responsibilities, understanding women's and children's' needs and appreciating her stems from crude and demeaning mentality towards women, often leading to all sorts of abuses and unhappy marriages. Absence of self growth, awareness and willingness to provide from men often lead to more emotional and mental labour from women which is unhealthy in any family dynamic. Women offer more than men be it workforce or homes and get way less support, appreciation and underpaid though they might be successful. Women's safety is another big factor that triggered feminism wave. I agree we men and women should learn to co-exist happily but huge effort to change is absent from male side causing the hate and gap to widen. Like Nora said, men compete with us instead of understanding. Yes, not all men but many, especially those built heavy from outdated cultural systems. Men will easily objectify women but look so hard for a reason to respect her, when it should be opposite.

What she is saying also true , If we study Feminism , it is still relevant and need in rural India and some urban areas. Genuine feminism isn't about anti-male sentiments but striving for gender equality( no competetion between men and women). However, pseudo-feminism often exploits the movement for personal gain. Nonetheless, every advancement women achieve is a result of feminism. Modern feminism has strayed from its original focus and become radicalized. The notion of inherent gender roles is a construct shaped by society and historical context ( evolution environment etc), and as circumstances change, so too do the roles we assume. There must be flexibility in gender roles which boils down to indivial families.. there should not be inherent role fixated to partuclar gender.

Feminism isn’t promoting the choice to not marry or not have kids.. It is promoting women to make their own decisions. Women can choose what to do without the pressure of societal norms. Then the choice can be anything.. a stay at home mom or an independent single woman. She can decide what to do with her life. That’s the whole point. This woman has got the entire idea of feminism wrong, just like many others.

I understand what are you saying but isn't it up to me or a woman to decide what they want to be, why should society including you decide what a woman or a man should be, you can say I prefer it that way or I believe that and I would l like to my house to that but saying it ruined the society is fairly extreme, with all due respect many women who came before you stand for feminism because of them you are a woman in a man dominate society and earn equally or more in some case compared to man, people would have not taken you seriously just because you are woman, situations like casting couch etc that you only said, happens because men feel they are above women and sexual gratification is at minimum required by women if she want to be someone. And I agree there is extreme feminism but the problem with that is the US can say those things about feminism but in a place like India is that we haven't reached that place, we are only in the beginning steps regard to equal rights, a country where out of 50% only 6% is employed, a country where 50 cases per hour are filed regarding 50% of the population are being molested, raped, etc and there you as women say feminism has ruined society then the other half has a complete right to use that and say women are saying feminism is bad and now stop giving right to women, please talk to women in India where are still forced to abort female child, where sexism still exists, talk to women who are fight for equal right. We urban India is not the real India, urban India and rural India are very far apart so respectfully please think before you say "feminism ruined society" because India needs feminism for good for India only. @TRSClips @Ranveer bhai I love you but please point out these things during a podcast I am not saying to be disrespectful but please point out these things like say(I am not a podcaster, just as a piece of genuine advice) "Don't you think it is an extreme take as women who fought for it are being disrespected" or any other way that you prefer that we make these podcast more fruitful.

While I'd like you to know I don't oppose Feminism...what I believe is she meant "Toxic" or "Radicalized" Feminism is what is ruining the Indian society. Feminism, especially in a 3rd World Developing country like India is, as you said, quite important and essential, but that also doesn't mean that it doesn't have it's downsides. You pointed out how so many children are still murdered for just being a girl (which I 200% agree, is wrong), and then you said that how so many women go through assaults, tortures, etc every day...but then failed to talk about how so many cases registered in courts are infact FALSE, and that so many men have suicided because of it. I don't say Feminism is bad or these laws made to protect women should be erased, absolutely NOT. Just that what the ACTUAL Core idea and mindset of Feminism was i.e. upliftment of women in the society so that they get equal rights to men, should be protected and cherished...and one shouldn't go blind with their ideas, cause that has severe repurcussions (as what we see with laws in India today). Anything practiced to the extreme is Bad...be it Feminism or Men's rights...🤷👍✌️🥂

There's no such thing as "roles" to play. A man can be the house husband and a woman can be the working one. A man and woman both can bring the same thing on the table. Both of them can be working and both of them can handle the household together. She needs to stop generalizing every woman according to her pov. "Traditional and normal"?? You know Sati Pratha was also a traditional thing which is a social evil. Not every traditional way of thinking is normal. It's just YOUR opinion. It's NOT "normal". And it's not wrong if you think like this or if you want this for yourself but don't generalize women based on what YOU think is right or "normal".

Before we are women or men. We are individuals. We are individuals with different mindsets, goals, aspirations and abilities. If an individual thinks that he/she want to do one particular thing, let him/her do that. Who are we to question. That is what TRUE FEMINISM is about.

I am hoping we get to the world of abundance soon and we realise money doesnt equate to success and satisfaction. we are quickly entering a world in which work would lose its value and material cost would go down significantly. I would really suggest people to explore what are they as themselves outside of their work and never let identity crisis hit you bad. Be level headed.

I love Nora! For so many things (I can't even count)! And I've been her fan since 2018! But I disagree with her when she blamed "Feminism" for the toxic things done by some females in the name of "Feminism". Because this is not Feminism!!! Feminism has always been a factor to provide equal opportunities to both men and women (and all other genders). And Feminists are not always Females! There are so many men who have considered themselves as Feminists (including Barak Obama). Feminism's real goal is always to treat everyone equally regardless of their gender. And what Nora wants to mention in this podcast would probably be the "Matriarchs"! Matriarchy is the opposite word for "Patriarchy"! Where females want to dominate or want higher opportunities than men! This is the actual word Nora should be mentioning here in this podcast! No hate for her...I still love and respect her for who she is, and for almost all the speeches, interviews she has given! But at this point, as the nature of humans goes, I disagreed with her! And just wanted to clear some things here! That's all! ❤️🤝🏽
