For the most accurate test results using the Trutest EPM meter on a Gallagher energizer, the testing lead polarities must be swapped. You are measuring 6 joules at a 200ohm load with the polarities swapped (this is correct and according to spec) and only 5.3 joules the normal way, that is far below Gallagher's spec. I've done hundreds of tests on Gallagher energizers and that is the most accurate. You can call on Gallagher New Zealand to send you a spec sheet to check this but I assure you this is the way to test Gallagher energizers using the EPM...
