I watched this 10 years ago. Still such an amazing guitar and player! Sounds amazing. ❤ I wish I never sold mine.

I picked one up in Dec of 2012 along with a Deluxe Reverb. This is one great guitar and the tones you can get from it are fantastic. Adding the Deluxe Reverb 65RI is one sweet combo. I love it and the rest of the guitars are well just hanging on the wall.

I agree, love the telecaster and the amp use them both daily

I have a G&L telecaster asat in that same color and pickguard, exept it has brass saddles and a maple fretboard and is a Namm guitar, bought by wagstaffs music in 2003, it is very well made in japan instead of korea, becuase they only made 5000 of them for shows, its an amazing guitar. And i got it for 200$ at a pawn shop

Nice demo--no show off nonsense, a nice variety of playing. A nice walk around--good job!

I just purchased an American Deluxe Strat and it's now my favorite guitar to gig with. I also have a custom shop 60's re-issue Strat, and I enjoy playing the American Deluxe more! I like it sooo much I'm wanting one of the Tele's, is there anything you don't like about this guitar???

Nice! My avatar is 2011 Am Deluxe strat. Absolutely love the compound radius fretboard. It is truly perfect

That tone you speak of is the guitar, a small amount of the Pigtronix Philosophers Tone compressor pedal and the Paul Reed Smith Dallas 4X10 CAD amp with Derek Trucks mods. It's one of my favorite demo amps to use because you can dial in the gain accordingly, has a gentle and sweet reverb and is very dynamic when you lean into it. Thanks for watching!

I got one. Most versatile, playable guitar ever. The S switch adds a little "mean" to the tone.

Received my Tele, Holy cow its a keeper, Awesome guitar, Perfect for all types of music, Not as fat sounding as my Les Paul but hey that's not what a Tele is for, Now I have the best of both worlds!!!!!!

not a bad demo but as a mostly rhythm guitarist i hardly ever see a demo where you hear the chord tone
@clayy00010 жыл бұрын
Yeah i really wish people would just play some chords for like 30 seconds, clean and dirty
@clayy00010 жыл бұрын
***** well it's nice to hear chords since like.. You play chords in songs, it's also nice to see if you can hear each note clearly when a chord is played, not like a cheapo guitar where it'll get muddy and some notes cover up others, clarity is nice to hear
@master_shredder71469 жыл бұрын
Catherine ZetaReticuli Personally, I find that Fender does not bring the best out of clean chords, instead I would go with any Gretsch for clean chords, or almost any Gibson (preferably Les Paul) if you want to go heavy.

i have the same one with a maple fingerboard. love it. one thing. why does fender keep using those crappy input jacks? i put an electrosocket on mine. much better. will never loosen up. also the stock ones dont make a good connection with a right angle jack. the upgrade is about $6.00

Would anyone be kind enough to explain what is meant here by 'staggered' tuners? I can't figure out what is staggered about them as they just look to be lined up straight?
@guitar78ish9 жыл бұрын
staggered tuners refers to the height of the posts. Usually in paired heights, the 4th and 3rd tuner posts are lower than the 5th and 6th, and the 2nd and 1st are lower than the 3rd and 4th. If they are low enough you won't need string trees, I'm guessing the one string tree on the 1st and 2nd are more of a sting guide unlike a string tree that makes the angle of the string off the nut a higher degree because the post is at a normal height.(hope that made sense) Also a string tree would be closer to the nut.
@MrCopperthwaite9 жыл бұрын
guitar78ish Many thanks.
@guitar78ish9 жыл бұрын
MrCopperthwaite the staggered posts on these teles are 3 tall and 3 short...I just bought the ash version of this guitar. The one string tree does increase the string angle across the nut, but not as much with the standard posts.
@MrCopperthwaite9 жыл бұрын
guitar78ish Thanks, I have the aged cherry and love it. It's just the posts on mine look all in line? Is the difference so small as to be hard to see?
@guitar78ish9 жыл бұрын
MrCopperthwaite with the guitar in playing position, the difference in the post height should be obvious.

@1991stratplus9 жыл бұрын
Rick Danner First i have never heard anyone complain about this guitar, I want a tele, would i be better off just getting an American Standard? I just love the tone of the tele. My Strat has lace sensor and I really like them, i think they are warmer sounding than the new noiseless PU's. They sound to bright and harsh, to me anyways. love your music. You have huge talent.
@RickDanner9 жыл бұрын
1991stratplus thanks so much for the kind words ! You just cant go wrong with an American standard Tele !!! the lace sensors are nice but the tele noiseless PUs I think are dead sounding , like your under water. American Standard all the way !! And the S1 switching is really of no use.
@1991stratplus9 жыл бұрын
Rick Danner Thanks for the info, American standard it is. As soon as i can afford one.

I had one of those and I couldn't get it on ebay fast enough. The tone is artificial and that s1 drains the real tele tone from that guitar.
