Fender has knocked it outta the park with this one!! love my Bassbreaker 30R

Hello, after 2 years did you run into any issues with the amp?
@infinitedurr5 жыл бұрын
Really lovely voicing to this amp, almost hints of Mesa, Dumblish, Voxy, Marshally. Can’t wait to play one & heat it in person. The cleans were really impressive as well

I love it. Fender is coming on so strong these last few years. This looks like a game changer for Fender.

I have quite a few amps. The 30R has quickly become my favorite of them all. It doesn’t sound like ANYTHING else!

now fender please please please please make a 60 watt 2 x 12 version of this amp and you will have the absolutely best tube amp on the market.

Im so happy right now... i have been the proud owner of his green hss strat for 2 mo. It sounds killer!! .. in my 007 bassbreaker sterio rig and straight into my jvm sterio stack. Rock on!!

I just bought a Bassbreaker 30r. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks, Fender. Btw, I wouldn't say that the "high gain" channel is for metal. More like a good platform for a higher gain solo, so there's no need for pedals
@KRAZEEIZATION4 жыл бұрын
The 007 is a superb little amp. I love it.

I own this amp. Let me throw one more positive at this great amp. I have no desire to change the speaker! I am tweaky about the speaker in my amp and have always looked around for mods on amps to see what else others are doing. Not the situation here. Love, to my ear/taste the Celestion V type.
@MDwng5 жыл бұрын
My epiphone LP with duncans sounds really mean through this amp. The 30r is a beast. The bb 15w is mean too
@modestoney15774 жыл бұрын
do they sound alike? it`s hard to tell from videos. i really love the BB 15 and would dig a 30W version with channel switching. my impression is that the 30R does sound different
@luckyg89714 жыл бұрын
@@modestoney1577 I used two different guitars with each amp, but the gain voicing and tone is the same. The 15w & 30r high gain mode is not just good, it's impressive. The celestion V-type speaker may be my favorite celestion too. Big difference in volume and the 30r might have more gain at it's peak.

I wish the DI was not tied to channel volume....it NEEDS a separate DI volume level control for recording. And there is this fundamental frequency that does not change with EQ changes. It has a roar that stays in the sound no matter what knobs you twist. The Marshall bluesbreaker can sound thin and jangly and then fatten up with knob twisting and sound universal to tele’s strats and lesters... and even P90s.... pedals like a broader EQ range, and this Fender sounds great but has a one trick EQ set point. If you can get over that part.... it is a pretty different departure from stock Fenders....and in a good way....

I have one and just Love it. I play Classic Rock and Blues with it. I do wish it had a Master Volume, but wish it REALLY had a Level Control on the HIGH GAIN setting as I’ve tried to use it as a Lead Boost but it’s WAY TOO LOUD to be used that way! If anyone knows a way around this, PLEASE let me know. Thank You!

I just wish so much that it looked like a vintage amp....I know it´s daft but it´s appearance really puts me off. Sounds great though...

Chuck Aspegren agreed. If it were tweed with the late 50’s Bassman look I think I’d be stalking this amp. Sweetwater should do a special run in tweed, wink wink.

I like that you added reverb to the bassbreaker sorely missing in some prior versions. The gain does have some cool personality but wish it was a little more touch sensitive to get some different voices. Also there's no master volume?

Change the speaker in the 30r.I tried a eminence tonker and it was more musical and open sounding.celestion cream back 65 also sounded much better than the stock speaker. Too many people selling bassbreaker combos. It's the speaker that let's it down.

I wish I had bought two of these instead of one of these and the bassbreaker 45. I was disappointed with the bassbreaker 45 when I run it next to this one.
@geroldtischler4 жыл бұрын
I am torn between these two, but your comment is very helpful. No attenuator on the 30r and the bassman circuit on the 45 are imho the sticking points for me to just go for the 30r, but I hear so much good stuff about the 30r, does your comment still hold a year later?

I haven't seen a need for one. on the high-gain channel I just turn that volume pot down a little it gets a tad bit thin but it doesn't matter if we're just practicing anyway. Once you get it past one or two you've got all the good creaminess

Dsl40 or this for Distorted Channel?

That's a tough call. So much of that is in personal preference and also in what type of guitar and pickups you're running through the amp. Can't go wrong w/ either and I have player through both but with a Fender Stratocaster, loved both. Went with the Bassbreaker 30R in the end.

anyone know how good this amp would be to make a late 60’s clapton tone?
@kaschbowman5 жыл бұрын
How late in the 60's... Excellent for Bluesbreaker Clapton sound IMHO. I have this amp so I get what you're asking. Also a huge fan of Eric Clapton. Clapton was going through a Marshall at that time and this amp gives the notes that bit of a "grunt" if you will that's perfect for that. Contributing to that sound is also the touch sensitivity this amp has so you can set it on the edge of breakup and dig in for the solo parts and back off for rhythm. Now if it's the real late 60's stuff. I am currently run a mini-Fuzz through this amp and it could not sound better. I don't have an ES-335 but man, I imagine that would be heavenly on this amp. I do have a tele w/ a Nocaster in the bridge and a twisted tele in the neck and it comes through this amp very well so do both my flat pole pickup strat and my texas special strat. Hope that helps.

Rockdawg Undercover althoigh do you reckon I’d be better off with this amp or maybe the slightly more expensive marshall studio vintage?
@kaschbowman5 жыл бұрын
@@samturner8177 Not familiar w/ the Marshall Studio Vintage. Probably great either way. I do like the gain foot pedal and the channel selector for playing live. If the Marshall has that "IT" sound and that's what you're truly after and deeply wanting I'd say go for it. The Bassbreaker is solid stock and light too. Good luck w/ your choice and report back if you will on how it worked out for you.

@michaelbell755 жыл бұрын
Orange? Crisp gain tones? Are you high? LOL!! I love Orange amps but there is nothing "crisp" about their gain sounds. Its very hairy and fuzzy gain, which is why they are THE stoner rock/metal amps. Gain on an Orange is nowhere close to crisp.
