I just purchased the lefty version of the Fender CC-60S Concert-sized today with the walnut fingerboard ($199). Today I tried again before buying it an Ibanez AEG-18 ($359), a Guild M-120E ($749), a Recording King Dirty 30's 7 Parlor ($159), a Taylor 150 ($799), all of them lefties, and out of all of those I preferred the Guild and the Fender. The Fender won out for price, and playability. They both sounded nice with the Guild sounding a little tighter (perhaps to better woods and construction) but it didn't sound $550 better and I was surprised how pleasing the little Fender sounded to me. I just love the sound it has and it looks great and super easy to play. The G, C, A, E, and D open chords sound wonderful!

@AlamoMusic4 жыл бұрын
Both great guitars and the same price range. This comes down to taste. The CC has a spruce top and a concert shape while the CD has a mahogany top and a dreadnought shape. Because of this, the CC is ideal for fingerpicking or solo playing, and the CD is great for lots of strumming with great volume. The CD's bodysize is also larger than the CC. However keep in mind that even though these guitars may shine in these specific areas you can play whatever style you want on both and still get a great sound. Best of luck! Let us know what you decide!
