I´ve tried several guitar amps over the years and came to the conclusion that I only need one (or more) Deluxe Reverb Amps :)

Totally agree. I have one of these (and vintage amps) and it is absolutely the best pedal platform out there.

Would have been cool for you to have shown the actual amp and pedal settings. Thats a great tone would help many people get a close sounding round blusey tone. Very nice

Not only a great demo of this classic amp, but also tasty playing with the classic guitars side by side was cool-- the amp lets the personality of each shine through...complimented by your beautiful and melodic improvisation!

PuIIing the trigger on a 64 Hand wired today. Iove my oId Super Reverb, but it's just too heavy to cart around for any but the gigs I can really turn it up. Nice playing by the way, beautiful tones.

Mine is home built to the specs of the original per the schematic and the BlackVibe 6V6 by Rob Robinette. I LOVE the tone and natural harmonic distortion when using a Strat with dual rail Humbucker in the bridge. Love the work you do for us man. Please keep them coming.

I think you made a little mistake on the reverb settings. In the beginning part with your strat it sounds so good with just enough reverb. When you switched to ES335, it's really dry.
@Jayhawk7203 ай бұрын
I have a Deluxe Reverb 65 reissue too. But it doesn’t take overdrive or distortion pedals too well (to my ears) in the reverb channel at low levels due to the bright cap. Yours sounded good, so wondered what volume you were playing at. Important in this amp as the bright cap only affects the tone below a certain volume.
@TomMarcozzi3 ай бұрын
@@Jayhawk720 i have the volume set pretty low somewhere between 2-3.

I'm trying to get these tones!! Obviously, i get that it's mainly the way you play, but could you do a video of your guitar set up (335), rough pickup height positions, volume and tone positions. I found I'm getting close with lower pickup height positions, volumes around 3 and tone around 4 -5. Would be a great help to know yours? Thanks

hey, thanx alot for your comment. i actually had the pots on my 335 all on 10 and pu hight regular, no special setup 👍

What can you tell me about Kelton Swade guitars???? Never heard of them.... are they worth the price????
@TomMarcozzi Жыл бұрын
i was one the first to bring KS guitars to europe in 2011. i was running the guitarshop www.primeguitars.ch at that time. my personal opinion: Kelton Swade guitars are absolutely fantastic instruments 🎸👍

Since you’re running mono to a single amp, why are you using both stereo outputs from your delay into your reverb? As far as I know, most pedals with two stereo inputs and two stereo outputs will not sum their two inputs into a single one of their outputs. So, for example, if you had 8 repeats coming out of your stereo delay, and 4 where going into the left input of the reverb, and the other 4 were going into the right input of the reverb, you would only hear the 4 that are coming out the reverb’s single output, not all 8 that went into its two inputs. Unless maybe those TC Electronics pedals work differently than most do.
@TomMarcozzi6 ай бұрын
thanx for your comment. you probably misunderstood something. i just use the mono output from the TC to the amp. i would use a second amp to connect with the other TC output to get a stereo rig 👍
