I have been playing fender basses over 40 yrs and have several made in japan fenders that I love
@christosfragias5927 күн бұрын
That's awesome. I honestly think, for the money you pay for made in Japan Fenders, they exceed the value proposition compared to USA made Fender basses. Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘

Nice video Christos & Appreciate the shoutout! Sent you an email over the weekend. You should look into the MIJ Heritage series basses. The crème de la crème! Keep it up brother.

Thanks, Jefferson (Starship!) I appreciate your kind words, and thankful for the time you've given me answering my many queries. 😁 There is one MiJ Heritage model I may speak to you about at some point. 😁 Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘

Hi christos, did you try out the player 2 jazz bass before settling on the MIJ hybrid? I'm debating on which to get and it seems most are unavailable for me to try.
@christosfragias592Ай бұрын
@zoiken4 . Not yet. However, if I get into a band again, I'll definitely consider a Player II Series Precision bass. Alternatively, if I don't, I'd like to get a MIJ Hybrid II Precision bass. I've seen a Player II Precision bass as low as $1,000 here in Australia 🇦🇺. Which is great 👍 value.
@christosfragias592Ай бұрын
@zoiken4 . I should add the Player II series has medium jumbo frets. The MIJ basses will have tall vintage/narrow frets. The former is likely to last longer. Also, the MIJ Traditional and Heritage series have their truss rod nuts located in the neck heel. Meaning you have to remove the neck. The Hybrid II MIJ and the Player II series have the truss rod nut located at the headstock making adjustments quicker and easier.

im a big fender japan fan,but why did they change the logo on the hybrids to the silver fender logo.the older hybrids have the spaghetti gold logo,which to me is nicer
@christosfragias5924 ай бұрын
@elbib2446 . Fair enough. I like the spaghetti 🍝 logo as well. But I also like the current logo. Maybe in the Hybrid III, Fender may revert back to the spaghetti 🍝 🤔 logo. Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘

It’s funny how specs guys are generally average players. Spend more time practicing my friend. Thanks for the video.

You've completely misunderstood my approach!!! I take these videos very seriously to provide hardworking bassists with as much information, intelligence, and insights, to benefit them in making optimal decisions when spending their hard-earned dollars. This way, they can feel satisfied that they obtained the best value for money. I don't care if that makes me a substandard player. I couldn't care less. It was never my intention to be a world class bassist. Nor could I care about others' unqualified and unsolicited opinions! By commentating in my videos, I invite others to share their thoughts and experiences and/or seek further assistance from me, which I am happy to do so. I don't wish to solely post videos of me playing my bass. That can be seen as self-indulgent. By posting videos of product reviews, it shows I am here to provide help and support to others. That's the more admirable position to be in! You should commentate in your videos. I guarantee it will generate greater subscriptions, interest, and interactions in your KZbin channel. Feel free to reach out to me on these points and I am happy to impart my guidance and knowledge on you. Hopefully then, you'll understand and appreciate my approach!!!

@ I don’t post my videos for views or attention. They’re simply to showcase the sound of gear when I’m selling it-nothing more. No offense intended. Commentary isn’t the purpose of my videos, and I’ll leave it at that. I clicked on your video because of the title, but found the playing, sound, and recording to be average. I don’t need advice on generating views; I do that on stage, where playing truly matters. Best of luck with your educational videos.

@@mustafic83 "I don’t post my videos for views or attention." Then why are you on KZbin? Instead, you post to showcase? Showcasing is intended to seek views and attention! Please note, I don't just post 'educational videos.' I also post videos playing along to my favourite bands, musicians, and musical compositions. I encourage you to subscribe and check them out. You may walk away feeling inspired, having gained new ideas and perspectives. Or even provide me constructive comments. Don't take my assistance the wrong way. I was only trying to help you improve on your low viewership and strongly recommend you to try engaging more. And good engagement comes through dialogue. Dialogue that demonstrates confidence, humility, and subject matter expertise. All culminating to a well rounded musician. Structure dialogue that engages viewers to engage with you. I don't think I saw any comments on your videos. Don't take this the wrong way, my friend. Just trying to provide you my insights to get more out of your channel. My friend, try my suggestions, and I feel confident that you will attract much more interest in your videos. I also recommend improving your sound and lighting. My friend, I wish you all the best. And all the best in your showcasing. Farewell!
