Anthony, I really appreciate it that you are willing to call attention to potential weaknesses as well as strengths in the basses you sell. Gives you credibility some others lack.

It is so refreshing to see a real player legitimizing playing bass guitar with a pick. I am a classical cellist and double (upright) bassist with a bit of violin and viola. I also play punk and pop punk rock on guitar and bass. Playing bass guitar with a pick has nothing to do with “lack of skill” or “purity of playing” and playing with fingers does not delegitimize players who use picks. Let’s see a snob who attacks playing bass with a pick play double (upright)bass with a bow. 😇There are many ways to make musical instruments sing.🎶 rock on, Anthony; thanks for the video!

I don't know anything about Ms. Blu DeTiger...but that bass just makes absolute perfect sense. Nothing on it that is not completely usable. Better than a tyical Jazz if you ask me due to the bucker in the bridge.

Gorgeous bass. Sounds pretty much like my Player Plus Jazz bass but I'd have to play the Blu DeTiger to decide. Thanks Anthony!

I’m not sure they are issues though. Chambered bodies have been a thing for a while. Roger S and other companies have been doing that with their basses for a while. Unless you are an avid hard ash player, then it doesn’t make that much of a difference. And the bottom end a champered jazz produces is juicy!! I dig chambered bodies. Just a different vibe but a good

I wish it had abalone or pearl block inlays. I love the humbucker in the bridge. I also really like the sparkle burst and chambered body.

Awesome review man. I really can’t hear much difference between the double stacked bridge pickup and a single one. Does it just add slightly more beef/output like a humbucker or soap?

I salute you for taking the time to take the pickguard off, showing us that routing. Looks crude but leaves plenty of cavity space. I tried the mono neon signature but found it super heavy, a bit over the top. This looks more lithe? More single coil options? PS what's the chorus?

I have an 87 American J Bass… And the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that bass was - What da crap is the secret sauce with that bass? It’s got the J Bass vibe, but extra tone. I was wondering if it was the studio eq after recording? 🤷🏻… It resonates almost with a p bass growl, but it sounds like a J bass. My J Bass often leaves me wanting for extra tone. Slightly thinner in the mix than I need. When recording with my j bass, the single coils get a bit noisy, and I have turn in my chair in a direction that doesn’t pick up the hum. That demo made that Blu de Tiger bass sound great. The first time I heard that bass I made the comment, “I believe that might be the best tone on a J Bass that I have ever heard.” Great demo! What is the fretboard radius?

If only there would be a 5 string version of this bass

Nice bass. It's as good looking as the woman it is named after. I'm a sucker for sparkle finishes... very tempting. And that soloed bridge pickup sounds great. Not something I do on a regular jazz, but it would be useful on this bass.

Get rid of the fretboard binding (not a fan) and different color pickup covers as those match nothing and it'd really be slick looking.

I ordered this for Christmas. Beautiful bass but after 3 times of plugging it in the input jack had a missing screw and was hanging by the other. Had to do a repair with jamming toothpick into the #4 wood screw holes with epoxy. Re-mounted the jack plate with slightly larger wood screws. Honestly for a 1600.00-dollar bass Fender should definitely have a better system for mounting the most heavily used item on the bass. Constant plugging and unplugging of your instrument cable, this will fail on every one of these I guarantee. Because of the chambering on the body the screws have nothing to bite onto once through the wall, it's just not a good thing. Other than that, the bass obviously has the cheapest Fender strings as standard, and the setup was abysmal. Too much relief in the neck and action was too high. Now the good. The active pre-amp on this bass is awesome and once I had the proper setup and Labella strings, she has an amazing range of sounds. The paint is beautiful, and pickup configuration is unique and fun to play with.

@ЖанДюжарден-э3п what the hell does that have to do with a video of you playing bass when asked to? We are not asking for lessons and I doubt you give lessons. I doubt you play at all. So, if Anthony is such a "shity" and "weak" player, then prove you are a more proficient player than him. The burden of proof falls on you.

@RoadKing-ky2bs4 ай бұрын
@ЖанДюжарден-э3п Anthony does have excellent technique and control over the strings. He doesn't just "pet" the strings 🙄 Obviously, you haven't been around long enough to watch his playing over the years because if you have, you'd know he can play any style, hard and soft playing. You labeled him as a "shity" player on another video and "weak" on this video. That's why I challenged you to post a video here for all of us to view and critique your playing. But you know what, you are right: it is a waste of time because you are too much of a coward to show us your playing ability since you think you are so much better than Anthony.
