Fender replacement on a 2004 Honda Accord

Got a used fender from a junkyard and color matched paint from Autozone to repair this Accord.

The prime and paint you did a damn good job. But for installing the fender it was a botched up job. You should've installed the fender first, the plastic mount bracket for the bumper, the headlight then the bumper. It's all about sequence

Thanks for that insight. Never did one before, on a modern car that is. What you said made sense. But considering I did this for a neighbor for $200 including the cost of the fender, they were thrilled. I was just trying to help.

Hello, thank you for posting the video. I was wondering, what's the name of the primer you used? did you just use one can of primer and one can of the dupli-color white paint?

I used whatever primer was available at Autozone. I definitely used more than one can each to ensure complete coverage. Sorry I don’t recall the details.

Oh god. Watching you use a rattle can is nerve-wracking. Someone needs to show you how to paint properly. You want to start your spray and end your spray off of the piece if possible, encompassing the entire length of the piece in the time the button is depressed from the very beginning to the very end and not varying the distance from the part to the nozzle at any point in time if possible. The place where you stopped the spray was on the part and started back the other direction you left a paint line. I know you may not see it but it's there and if you were working with harder to work with material, you would definitely have problems.
