I work in professional motor sports. At World Wide Tech Raceway. On the drag strip. When the NHRA Midwest Nationals come at the end of September. I work for the NHRA Safety Safari. They have 2 newer Fendt 314 Vario. For brooming & laying new rubber. I did a ride along while they were doing prep between rounds. The cab was very nicely laid out. Roomy. Great sound deadening too.

My local Fendt dealer has a pile of late model Deere tractors on the lot that the local dairy farmers have traded in…they have been steadily been getting rid of their Deere tractors in favor of the Fendt’s for years now…the local Deere dealer is losing the huge market share they once enjoyed to Fendt…even some of the Deere salesmen have jumped ship and are now working for Fendt…they’re hands down the best tractor on the market!..

@luisnunes7933Ай бұрын
Hello! That boy ought to speed the engine before the ripper digs fully! The plenty black smoke proves it. And the CVT demands a more agressive stance doing hard work...

why not just get the duetz then? there so nice too

So breaking up compaction with a heavy tractor, lot's of rinse & repeat with compaction, anyone working on a "light weight" farming solution?
@bigtractorpowerАй бұрын
The tractor runs ahead of the ripper. You need the power, weight and tires to pull through and lift the field. The ripper breaks compaction behind the tractor and what was created by the planter, sprayer and combine passes. I see no other way. The field will now better absorb water and air over the winter and the soil will mellow.

A 9 shank disc ripper would be alot more beneficial on that corn ground than the in line ripper especially if its going to be beans next years
@bigtractorpowerАй бұрын
Subsoiling works well to break compaction and reduce erosion. This farm will run a McFarlane Reel disk and plant in the spring.
@steveolesen8033Ай бұрын
@bigtractorpower i get that but the inline ripper does nothing to reduce surface tension and the reel disk will just create shallower compaction in the spring

Nice, extremely capable tractors and all, but they're so ugly it's almost an art-form lol. Much prefer the new look. They're incorporating the newer 1000-series style aesthetics down the line. The new 900-series is a beaut.

He's a kid, and I'll give you some advice as a dad of 3, there are times where you don't get as much done, because you are either teaching, or kids can't work as fast as we adults can, but you allow them to try, and learn, because if you don't have the patience for your kids, how will they ever learn anything? Simply the parents of the boy could tell him how to do it better, and he will absorb that and carry it with him for the rest of his life, but patience is the only way with kids, and they must fail and mess up to learn any real lessons in life.
