Laura you are a marketing directors dream come true. Your smile and your personality are priceless!!! Your demonstration of Fendt Tractors and how it works with that implement just sold more tractors than any other form of advertising that Butler Ag and Fendt tractors could have hoped or paid for. Your explanation to Grant and your enthusiasm for their product probably sold a dozen tractors. Unless Fendt's head of sales is completely brain dead he'll very quickly get one of those machines back on your farm and have YOU demo it all season. Love you....

American girl, German tractor, French tires, Italian food and Worldwide viewers - hey, that's what I call "international" ;-)))! Really cooooool, this beast. Was a pleasure to watch. I would be interested in the stability of the tractor over a longer period of time. In Germany, the fields are smaller and the machines work in shorter intervals. In America, they run all day long. Unfortunately, the more electronics are built in, the more sensitive the devices are, and today's generation is stuffed with them. It would be great if you could test the Fendt and the latest John Deere at the same time for a year. That would be a direct comparison of the two manufacturers, documented in your vlog. Would Butler Ag be willing to do that? Best wishes for Papa Kurt and your school. Herzliche Grüße an die ganze Familie ;-)!

I don’t think that the intervals here in Europe are shorter. Tractors this size are mostly owned by contractors, not by farmes and they run them all das long. Sometimes even in multiple shifts per day.

like we say here in germany einmal Fendt immer Fendt one time you drive a Fendt you always want to drive Fendt the traktors are compact, powerful and comfortable and theres so much features that make your everyday work so much easier one example you can save your work settings for each maschine hydraulik cruise control Hitch and even the Teach In ( GO and END) sequence can be saved so that you only have to load the maschine in the terminal when you use it in the next year And one little tip for the next time on the left side of the TMS button theres a button with a pedal on it, if its activated the engine and the gearbox are on auto so the traktor drive like every car with a automatic And i really like your videos hats up for a farming girl

i know of an AGCO dealer who had 3 low houred fendts , all with serious engine failures (deutz) at the same time and Fendt were only prepaed to replace one out of the three engines whilst attempting to repair the other two, maybe this was an isolated freak incident although I very much doubt it , I think I heard Mike Mitchell mention a suspected cracked head on one of his smaller fendts as it was "drinking antifreeze" I also know of an older 716 which had incessant engine trouble, ( deutz) so much so that the owner relegated the tractor to occasional hedgecutting work until he could get shut of it in favour of a much cheaper and more reliable Claas tractor

Damm ... dont know how or why this came across video feed but it was a joy to watch 👍🏻 I got to experience a little bit of farming when I visited my aunt and uncle back in the mid-1960s in Illinois by St. Louis. My uncles family owned farms in that area I was able to visit them and see a little bit about what was going on. Watching Laura’s videos it is truly amazing on how it is done and the complexity of it. Here you have this young lady learning how to program a tractor to make a livelihood for herself and on the other hand you have young kids that do nothing all day but play stupid video games and waste their lives away. Very nice video! I think that if you want to own the most ergonomic, best equiped tractor, as well as the one that can take over most of the driver's tasks, the Fendt is the one to have. What you see here is that the driver will have to think through the process and program that process into the tractors' computer. A completely different way of driving a tractor compared to 20 years ago. John Deere, CNH (Case, New Holland, Steyr) and others like Massey Ferguson, Challenger, Valtra (also AGCO, like the Fendt), SDF (Deutz-Fahr, Same) offer these features to a large extend. Prices of these machines vary, where Fendt is the most expensive (compare it to a Mercedes Benz S class car) followed by John Deere. New Holland is also very good, but with a friendlier pricetag.

I demoed a BMW 80R once. I wanted one because they're an awesome motorcycle. My bike was and is a Kawasaki Zephyr 1100. The guy at the BMW dealer told me to find some gravel or dirt, go into a turn and grab the front break and the bike WILL NOT go down. So armed with that I did about an hour ride in San Francisco. I was coming off The Golden Gate into the Marina at the first off ramp, a little hot, and I did exactly that. I was in the gravel, and I locked it up. I'd been front braking the whole time so I'd already trained myself to use only the front brake. And it did just what the guy said. I was probably doing close to 70mph and locked up the front brake. But with the anti lock braking system they have (had even back then in the 90s) pulled me through the turn without so much as a slide. Problem was, I got back on my bike and I almost laid it down. There was no way I could ride both of them. What I could do on the BMW would get me killed on the Kawasaki. Don't know if its the same with tractors or not.

Fendts are awesome machines. Ofc they have their price but efficiency and comfort are definitely worth it. Plus you get more money back if you will sell them compared to other manufacturers. Definitely worth their price...

What a great video! Would have been neat to see a closeup of the ground before and after. Maybe the 2" seedbed. I never thought about a seedbed. Do some seedbeds help or hurt water retention? See what happens? You get us interested in the subject and suddenly you're going to get questions.
