Well an example right now is case and new holland combines right now are 0% for 60 months vs leasing is usually 2 to 3 years with a certain amount of hours you get for that machine. For our farm leasing isnt a good option so we go with financing and make 2 payments a year. Its just like cars or trucks.

If I were Agco I would take a fresh look at what is going on with mikes combines. Mike has shown enormous patience as we all know. Promises of fixes year on year have still left him with issues big and small plus the plugging saga. ‘If’ I were Agco rather than let Mike jump ship with all the negative press it would bring to the Ideals I would basically ask him to stay with them for real world field development of the combine with a massive technical support and financial compensation package. His feedback in the field would be invaluable in making it a good machine for future years. If he goes the Ideal is dead in the water
@j.e.honiball13273 жыл бұрын
I believe Agco is working very closely with Mike to fix all the issues the combines have. He has mentioned in the past that they listen to his input. Apart from the plugging problem (which they also have made updates to help prevent) they aren't really having the same problems over and over. Once a problem arises, Agco makes an update to fix the problems on the current and future combines. Take the fiery gearboxes of last year for example. These combines are quite new on the market and Mike just bought a whole fleet of them. Maybe he got them at a good price seeing as he is basically a Guinea pig for Agco, but they would be very negligent if they did not keep a close eye on Mike's fleet
@tommyzoo3 жыл бұрын
@@j.e.honiball1327 I agree that Agco have been excellent in their support for Mike and that they have tried to attend to the fixes. I used to work for Massey Ferguson as a field test engineer test driving prototype tractors prior to launch. I guess what I am trying to get across is that I would love for the Ideal to succeed. The issue is we have Mike who is followed worldwide and whose videos have more clout than any advert for the combines. It is clear the Ideal provides a superb sample and when running has great output. My fear is that if Mike, as his comments seem to suggest, gives up on the Ideals the it will do real harm to the brand as the farming world is witness to what is unfolding. I just hope that the top brass at Agco get involved and as I said use Mike to get this machine running flawlessly or at least as reliably as a Claas or a JD. Field testing can only simulate to some degree what happens in the real world and Agco can grab an opportunity to utlise Mikes' experience in doing that whilst ensuring that his harvest is unaffected through mechanical issues. And also ensuring he is not out of pocket as a result. I am trying to put a positive on what is fast becoming a bit of a PR disaster for the Ideal.

A little trick so your boots or waders won’t suck into the mud is every time you take a step curl your toes down as hard as possible on the foot as it goes into the mud. this makes your foot expand and makes your boot wider then when you go to lift the foot uncurl your toes and your boot gets smaller again and breaks the suction that normally makes it harder too pickup your foot without leaving your boot behind. I know a guy who was duck hunting with us and he had a brand new pair of waders on and he didn’t curl his toes and he ended up getting both feet stuck in the mud and he couldn’t move so two of us went over by him and tried to help him lift his legs and we couldn’t break the suction so we ended up pulling him out of his waders and we still couldn’t get his waders out. that was 10 years or more ago and as far as I know the brand new waders at still in the middle of the river on our friends land and the guy who lost them has never gone out duck hunting ever again lol
