11th WOW factor - Austin really steppin up the videography! The drone footage mixed in showing these Ideals at work was awesome. There should be a two thumbs up button for staying out there in the dark and cold to finish this up. What's your take on track systems - fad of the times or way of the future?
@FullLineAustin4 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Rhino305!! I think the track systems are practical in certain areas such as places where there is lots of moisture (very wet areas) and places where they really have to watch out for compaction on the soil. In Sask where those two things aren’t as big of a worry, I think they would more or less be Fad here! Thanks for the comment, let me know what you think of that!

Very informative. If I were a farmer I would have to buy a Fendt form you for sure. If you know, what was the BLCK crop being harvested at the 5:00 minute mark of this vlog 🚜 🚜 🚜🚜 🚜 🚜
@FullLineAustin4 жыл бұрын
Well thank you for the nice comment Ken! And that black crop is Canola or Rapeseed! It is a very very common crop in Saskatchewan. It is also known as our money crop because it is the highest paying crop when you bring it into the elevator! Black Gold in the farmer world! If you have ever used canola oil when cooking, it is from the oil from that black crop! Canola oil is also very common in salad dressings, margarine, mayonnaise, bread, snack foods, cooking spray, and many more things! Thanks for the comment and I hope that helped explain it better!

How does grain not go down the auger that fills the hopper?
@ronkeking973 жыл бұрын
A really stupid question prbly, but i have no history with combines haha
@FullLineAustin3 жыл бұрын
No thats a valid question! It doesn't go down the auger because of the flighting on it and the auger is consistently turning! Does that makes sense?

How does the Fendt Ideal 8T compare with the John Deere S790 if both are equipped with tracks and similar heads as far as the amount of grain they harvest per hour, the amount of fuel consumed per hour, the quality of the grain in the hopper and the price of the machines themselves? The guy that puts grain in the bin with the least expense, lives to farm another day.

Thank you for the question Bob! I do not know the exact answer to that off the top of my head but I will try and find out more and find out the info you are looking for and get back to you! I appreciate good questions like this! 😄

Hey Austin. Where are you these days? Hope you didn't give up on KZbin?
@FullLineAustin4 жыл бұрын
Hi Grant. Thank you for checking up! I did not give up on KZbin, but I have slacked the last month here with uploading. I do have three videos lined up to be uploaded. This way I hope I will be able to have more constant video uploads if I have a few done ahead of time. Just trying to figure this whole thing out better! I hope you enjoy the video that will come out today! Sorry I have been missing lately! I am going to get better and more consistent.

@@FullLineAustin Austin, great. It must be so time consuming getting footage and editing. Hope you keep plugging away at it. I really don't know how SaskDutchKid keeps pumping them out and good interesting topics. I even asking him once in my feedback if he had help. I think you would have a lot of interesting things too. Bet the Fendt fans like you video about those products though.
