I just got one of these from Longhorn Tactical. The light is fantastic and the service from LHT was great as well. I will order from them again.

good afternoon!, is it true that this lamp has a low beam cri90 or just a neutral shade? Thank you

I’m really curious how this headlight stacks up with the Milwaukee rechargeable and which is better?
@bashfullJ88
@bashfullJ88 Жыл бұрын
The Fenix is a lot better than Milwaukee.

So I looked up the Milwaukee rechageable headlamps and they seem to mostly run off of 18650 battery so a better comparison would be something like the Fenix HM65R. This headlamp is bigger and produces a lot more lumen so not really a fair comparison.

One other person in a review I found, said that the tilt function does not ratchet rather it spins in a spring clip. This is one of my concerns. This person believes after many adjustments that it will not hold anymore. Could you give me your thoughts on this before I order it? I am a bit finicky when it comes to this feature as it has to do with my work usage. I like the 70R as it ratchets. Thank you for your info, or anyone else that has bought this. Just not that many reviews out yet.
@LonghornTactical

The light attaches to the headband via the clip and spins in the clip. There is no ratchet as this headlamp aims to be a 2-in-1 as the light is detachable. While the concern is valid, I personally cannot see the light rotating so much in the clip to where it comes loose. There is no incentive to detach the clip from the light itself so I cannot see the metal warping in any reasonable timeframe. However, if ratcheting is more important than the light being detachable, I recommend sticking with the 70R!

You can always tighten the clip. Easy fix. Break a ratchet tooth and it’s not an easy fix.

Thx for the review sir. I saw your previous video, the HM61R v2, it's nice too. What would you recommend 71R or 61R v2 for working in the forest within one week? Thx for the advice 🙏🏻

i own both the HM71R and the HM61R v.2 and i would recommend the HM71R due to being brighter, a bigger battery, and the flood light is a soft color so it’s easy on the eyes. However if you need a red light then go with the HM61R. i personally carry both on me for edc.

hm61r is much lighter - so it will be more comfortable when used for a long time. Compare the weights of both models. hm61r has a higher stable output of 600lm. It's also much cheaper. Users complain about headlamps with a 21700 battery, because after a long time they feel neck fatigue. If you need more time, it's better to buy a battery than to strain your neck.

Anyone now the size of the flashlight WITHOUT the headband?
@LonghornTactical
@LonghornTactical Жыл бұрын
From my understanding, the numbers stated in the video are actually the dimensions of the light itself without the headband attached according to the user manual and personal testing!
@KodyOrris
@KodyOrris Жыл бұрын
You say in the video “ from the front of the LED array to the rear most portion of the headband“. It’s definitely not one and three-quarter inches tall without the headband.

@@KodyOrris Howdy, sorry about that misunderstanding, I am not the guy in the video and I did not know the manufacturing dimensions I had access to at the time included the bracket. I pulled one off the shelf and the head of the light is 1.25 inches thick 4.17 inches long, and the battery cap at the end has a diameter of 1 inch! Let me know if you have any further questions or you could directly email us at support@longhorntactical.com and we can assist you in more detail!

Such an EXPENSIVE flashlight and in the flood mode after an hour the power drops to about 150lm. And what's even more funny is that in med mode it drops from 200lm to 100lm after 20-30min - looking at the working time graph posted on the Fenix website. You have a sense of humor... Do you know how much a 150lm flashlight costs? about 10-15% of the price of this headlamp. Something went wrong😳😳😳
