@@fenrirdachshundshow918 Do you have photo's of a Dachshund wearing the harness? Because the chest is big/deep usually the strap behind the front legs is too close to the arm (because the chestplate is too short) and will start to irritate. Dachshund owners can say from experience that what works for most dogs, doesn't mean it works for Dachshunds :)

I have always thought a harness is better than collar for a daxon as it is less hard on the back - a collar pulling puts pressure on the back I think? and I think a harness is better for all dogs, pressure on a neck seems cruel to me - I would like to hear your thoughts. thank you

harnesses are better actually, the ones that go atound neck.

Harnesses are better as it doesn't put pressure on there neck and therefor doesn't stress there spine
