Spring is on its way if the crocus are coming out in the garden the ones which are in Hydrox's favourite places to watch his world, maybe Hydrox laying in those places has given them a little extra warmth to start to bloom. Hydrox is still the prettiest flower in the flower bed, my opinion anyway. I'm ready for spring and the possible chance of getting out the house for a while. I love watching the cats eating Hydrox and Ditto sharing a plate and Hydrox letting Ditto know their food has arrived. Boo always wanting crunchies sprinkled on his food and Splash running off elsewhere and eating his food after the others. Cats always have their own way of what and how they eat looks like the other animals who visit the garden are the same but nothing is using the automatic feeder right now. For now life carries on as expected indoors and outdoors of LF's home. Take care. Love, purrs, cuddles and kisses for all

Boo's fur looks so sleek and shiny...so healthy! Why do you think that Splash is so sensitive?...This certainly shows that cats have their own personalities...Splash, seems to have retained the child, mother bond in an almost feral way....Splash is an artist cat...like someone painted him from the Hand of God...They are all beautiful....

The same reason that some people are more sensitive or insensitive than others.

@@LuckyFerals Indeed so...and if kittehs can be neuro-atypical (as humans, like myself, can be) Splash might be an Aspie-cat, and that would simply be a matter of the innate neurobiology underlying his purrsonal temperament. Regardless, like the rest of his furry family, Splashie is beautiful, from the inside out in all directions.

1:00 Very topical. Samuel just released a torrent of puke on the carpet that looked like something out of the exorcist. He opened his mouth, released an unending stream of puke and moved his head in an arch as to spray the puke over as large an area as possible. Then he walked to the other side of the room and sprayed puke there as well. I'm going to have to shampoo the carpet now.

Spring must be here if your cleaning up vomit and furballs from Sammy. Your not alone Cleo has been the same this weekend, so I've been cleaning floors. Cat evolution has not found a way to stop cats developing furballs yet and no cat would ever clean up after themselves. Take care. Love, purrs, cuddles and kisses for Sammy
@TabbyTimeOut3 жыл бұрын
@@donna-louisecave154 The puke was extra chunky and had the brownish color and consistency of brownie mix with nuts in it. It wasn't pleasant. It took a few passes of the carpet cleaner to get the stain out of the carpet.
@donna-louisecave1543 жыл бұрын
@@TabbyTimeOut Sammy did a really good job of covering the carpet leaving you to have to get the carpet cleaner out. Most people would think signs of spring are plants and tree growing and warmer weather, no its when cats start shedding fur and vomiting up furballs. The joy of living with a furry friend

Your cats are all beautiful, and you're great with them, :) they are indeed lucky! :) I also have had feral cats since forever, it's crazy I've lived quite a few places from farms to cities and in between, they always find me. I've kept every cat who finds me their whole lives, the oldest cat was 18 years old, they usually live from 14 - 16 years old. I've loved them all. We have pretty much the same type of method with them. I've found an amazing litter called catspot clumping coconut litter, It's my favorite out of the tons of different types I've tried over the years.

That is a traditional farming technique to put out food for the raccoons to keep them away from the cats. Farmers keep a stash of food in different locations away from the central farms to prevent rodents and other animals. I guess it still works. 👌beautiful crocus’ . Is that the same as saffron crocus?
@donna-louisecave1543 жыл бұрын
Some farming traditions should be brought back they lasted so long for the reason they did work. Having cats on farms to keep rodents out the grain stores goes back to the Egyptians who records claim they domesticated the first cats, I believe the cats trained the humans. If feeding the other animals stops any trouble its a good idea, who knew that raccoons like sandwiches. LF is finding out what foods the wild animals like to eat if protects Hydrox and Ditto from any attacks from that crazy raccoon.
@chezmoi423 жыл бұрын
I know nothing about feeding raccoons, but my first reaction to a spread of junk food for wild animals was a resounding "Oh, noooo!" I can help with the crocus question, though: the spring-blooming crocus, C. verna, is a different species from the saffron crocus, C. sativa, which blooms in the fall. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocus_sativus
