Great video! Working with feral dog now. Big challenge, not food motivated at all

They usually don't have much food motivation at first because fear inhibits hunger and food motivation (example- you probably aren't thinking about food while you are riding on a roller coaster, even if you were previously excited about a chili cheeseburger). Give them time and space to decompress and the good stuff comes from you (however far away you need to be, it could literally be opening a door to the room and tossing a handful of threats in), usually unfortunately for feral dogs our appearance signals negative things for them, such as social pressure and a reduction of their freedom because they feel less secure)

I believe you said that she lets you know when she needs to go to the bathroom. How does she let you know this?

For the first few days I would give her the chance to come out of the crate and bathroom and interact every 2-3 hours. Some dogs also will give off a different sounding whine/bark if they need to bathroom or will scratch at the crate, some dogs don't do that at first due to fear or they may have come from a situation where they are used to going to the bathroom where they sleep

Did she go ON the pee pad and if so, how does she know to do that? It seems she’d just go anywhere if she is feral… no?
