Not gonna lie, I’d absolutely love to see a video on hybrid training for dummies, running through macro cycles and ideal types of food macros you’d take and basically how to make your own training program. Like, a video on the building blocks of a hybrid training plan. Please and thank you 😅

What I would love to see is a video where you talked about managing your emotions, specifically when it comes to sport performance. Lots of these races/events can be intimidating so I am curious as to how you deal with nerves personally!

Hey Fergus, I would love to see a video about your recovery routine - whether that is stretching, rolling, massage. What do you do to help with injury prevention etc? Enjoying the content. It motivated me to sign up for my first 50km in June! #godhelpme Keep up the awesome stuff.

Really informative content as always. Will try this running workout for my next speed session. I'd like to see a video of you teaching about how/if you do a tempo run as there is a lot of conflicting info out there on this. Also with your power lifting a run down of the sets and reps you do, although I understand you'd probably want us to purchase a hybrid program for this an example of one session would be interesting. Lastly (long comment I know) a speed/interval session I like is:- warm up, 400m x3 with 1:30 rest, 800x2 with 3 min rest, 400 best effort, rest 2, 200 beat effort, cool down.

It would be really lovely to see a psychological professional on your channel talking about how training can be impacted by mental health. I know you have some experience given what you've talked about but it would be interesting to see a wider array of impact from mental disorders. I have MDD (major depressive disorder) and PTSD, so it'd be interesting to hear someone talk about how their own clients may have been affected.

Hey Fergus, awesome videos...just started watching you a few weeks ago and really enjoying your content. Just wondering where are you originally from? You don't have the strongest of Scottish accents haha and I'm guessing your more from the hertfordshire area, although possibly a bit more north. You purchase food from Hitchin which is where I am from....a video of your roots would be a great suggestion 👍

If you have anything about how your training changes for mountain objectives I'd be interested. I remember reverse lunges on heavy sq/dl day. For example, how does your volume distribution across endurance sessions change, what do your intensity distribution and total volume look like, how do you balance volume/effort across running and hiking, that kind of thing.

I’m here from the art of manliness podcast, and I’ve binge watched a lot of your channel now, Thankyou for making inspirational content. I don’t normally run due to asthma, but you’ve given me the bug - by sticking in zone 2 I might not have to have an asthma attack every time I go out- I’m more of a strength training and just add on token cardio at the end. Could you do a getting started video? Kit you use to track heart rate, how long to go out for if your just starting? Apps you use to track your overall speed? Any pattern of training- is every day for 30 mins enough or should it be an hour, or is it cumulative time spent over the week? Did you ever have issues with cold weather running triggers and your asthma, I do the 10k obstacle wolf runs in the midlands but the bit that kills me is the running, guaranteed trigger, I wear a snood now but I’d like to use your training style to help me smash it next time.

Hey Fergus, nice work! I don't understand why you put the 800m reps in your watch. You are running in the Track. 2 laps is exactly 800m. The watch isnt more exact than the Track. When Im running on track, I put in "Open" for both running and Break.
@ferguscrawley952 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Never said the watch was more accurate, and I’m well aware 2 laps is 800m - 1) just showing people the feature if they don’t have access to a track 2) it allows me to monitor my average pace in real time 3) saves me hitting lap/manually counting rest so I can just focusing on recovery between efforts!

Hey Fergus, loving the content. I'm only a recent subscriber (sorry!) but trying to catch up with everything in time. Would it be possible to get in touch with me? I've a bunch of questions regarding how you're doing what you're doing, and how it could help a charity challenge I'm doing next year. Keep it up, you're very inspirational and informative.

Hey mate, would you use a speed session to replace another session during the week or just add it in? Or is it more of a fatigue thing like you said and depends if you can handle it?

Would be completely dependent on context of your training man, couldn’t comment without knowing full context!
