He doesn't easily got intimidated by the enemy's power due to his past experience not because he believe they can't hurt him. He believes that if someone like himself can become super strong, than anyone with enough perseverance can do the same thing, that's who he is, that's why you'll never heard him say something like that in the show.

Nah, Saitama would just think hes a bad person. try and get to meet him like a normal person would (getting an appointment), fail comically by homelander refusing to see him (either by telling the front desk he isnt available or just telling him he would not see a random that just appeared in his company), Saitama would be pissed off and try to sneak in from the back, fail at it by being spotted, but he would be mistaken as some sort of "hero" thats there for a test for a spot in the seven, he would go with it to try and still sneak in, homelander would be notified about the "hero" thats there for the "test", he would be confused about it and go see WTF is going on... Once the 2 meet homelander would try and belittle Saitama, while Saitama ignores him while trying to give him a piece of his mind about how much of a bad person he is, homelander would lose his cool and then this video would happen.

Honestly I see Homelander similar to Yujiro, Both can do whatever they want cause they're the strongest in their verse so the government always monitor them and both have children that has potential to beat them if they are fully grown up, both also impregnate women without their consent (Billy butcher's wife and Jack Hanma's mother) and both brutally beat up whoever challenge their authority. In the third law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction. i think what was with homelander was a follow through, he put his everything into that punch and by laws of physics he didn't stop the energy he applied with his punch until he saw his hand was broken, so by punching saitama which was the greater force and durability homelander broke his hand by putting too much energy and momentum and the follow through broke his hand, in the ending of the battle, he splattered because he threw his entire being at saitama not stopping for any reason, like a bullet vs a more durable surface he crunched down upon himself as his full energy applied he splattered as all his energy returned back to his body as deadly recoil
