You got me obsessed with a Silver sword philodendron years ago when you had your silver one.Mine is about 7-8 feet tall and huge. It’s so easy care. I didn’t even know that a variegated one was a thing now!! I’m the same now,I don’t try to keep up with the new trending plants,I can wait couple of years as well until they get much cheaper😅 Love the color combo,it will make the plant pop. I love that we all may have different types on our grail list, I just got an anthurium Vittarifolium locally for $16 here in Kelowna, I was shocked, thought it would take longer for me to find, and afford it. Silver sword definitely isn’t my fav, love that you love it! I’m definitely willing to wait for the gooders to come down in price and sell locally

I got me a variegated silver sword too about a month ago! I bought it from another planty person, and it's so pretty!! A small baby like yours 😍 And I got it for 15 euros (I live in Finland) only!! Which is about 22 Canadian dollars. I too remember looking out for cuttings that were sold for a loooot more. Nice to have these rarer plants more available these days!

Oooh! Nice variegated Silver Sword. My ordinary Silver Sword is so easy to care for. It stays in its spot and can go without watering for a long time. You are right, once potted up it does look stunning!! The black moss poles really pulls it off.

Congrats on your wishlist plant! It looks 🤌 in that black setup! It looks like the pot was pretty big compared to the root system. I've always heard that can cause root rot. Are you able to do it because of the moss pole or is it a pon thing? Or is the video just deceiving? Lol I've never used pon but I'm definitely interested in trying it.

I feel like a lot of people sleep on Silver Swords to begin with and even more don't know about the variegated ones. I think a big part of it is either not being patient enough to wait until they mature, or just not buying mature ones that are already the beautiful spear shaped leafs.

The plant store I usually buy from had large ones of these plants, but I had to stop myself from buying one because I hate that the leaves get stuck like on a pink princess. Maybe I'll wait until the come down more in price, they were about 1800 SEK = 170 USD for about a 5 inch pot
