I love my Philodendron Polypodioides. It grows so much better than my Tortum. If I had to choose the Poly would definitely be it. I have mine in a Rousseau pole and she’s thriving. I’m planning to chop her soon and am going to double her up on the pole. Congratulations, you’re going to love her!

I will def be watching your tips and tricks for that patriciae! I ordered one from Ecuagenera and I had it for 6 months and it didn't do literally anything........at all........not a single thing. Didn't grow roots, didn't grow leaves. It didn't die, it just didn't grow. I got frustrated and when I got sick and missed watering it and it started to die, I just let it, lol. But it's such a beautiful plant, I decided I wanted to try again but with a hopefully different (and better?) specimen. So I've ordered another one. I really do like it and I want to succeed. So I'll be watching you, lol. I dunno if Ecuagenera USA or Ecuagenera like..Ecuador ships to Canada? But that's where I've been able to find some plants I've not been able to find elsewhere. All those plants looked SO GREAT! I want a minibelle now too they look so cute!!

Yes it grows a lot! I'd say I get a new leaf every month. It gets low ambient light. Some direct sun in the fall/winter when the sun is low in the sky :)

Polypodiodes is one of my favorite philos. It grows just as well as the tortum but it's more whispy. It's fantastic. Grows well in my low humidity environment too.

So pleased you have the Philodendron Patriciae ! It was on my wish list for so long but was so pricey. I managed to snag one last month on Facebook for £15 plus p+p as they said it was in need of rehab. Roots healthy and one gorgeous leaf with a new leaf just hardening off. It’s so pretty 😂❤
