The soltech highland is just a standard H type track, so you can customize it into whatever you want. I have an 8' section with a couple of the highland cans, but then I custom made some pendants using their bulbs (which also negates the need for the aspect line and you can use dimmable bulbs) and just tie the cord in a knot to adjust the height. Also, the timers are ok, but its worth upgrading to KASA outlets. That would also give you auto dimming options in the evening or even sunrise/sunset features.

Hi Fern! If you want to angle the Mother light in your Milsbo, and don’t mind drilling into the top of your cabinet, you can buy L brackets and use those as mounts for the Mother light. The holes on both ends of the Mother light can be screwed with the L brackets and then you can angle the light in any direction you’d like it to go. I did that above my WallyGrow set up with a Mother 32 light using L brackets and it’s working well. There’s usually a big selection of sizes at your local hardware store 😊

Love the details! I use Sansi and i have found that their regular bulbs that are 250watt equivalent (they're not sold as grow lights) work GREAT for my plants, like I have growth on every single plant near these! It is wild! I actually would say that I think they work better than the 36 watt sansi grow bulbs but I can't be 100% on that since I don't have the same plants under it. But my my hoya and string of and my white ghost etc are ALL amazing with them! Even my freakin aloe went from dying every time I thought of watering it to being like 18 inches tall with 2 or so children in the pot... I use them where my props are as well! I am sure they use more power a day then the grow lights do but I am not having ANY issues with any plants with these bulbs, I mean, I have had scorching when the plant grows right up onto the darn bulb (the aloe) but I have no clue how long it was actually like that to know how long it took to burn. One thing I am finding very interesting is that with my Sansii bulbs from the puck lights to the clip lights is that everything is always actively growing! I see growth on my string of hearts string of bananas, string of pearls, my white ghost, my alocasias and my two begonias and my jade plants and so on... like if its a plant it is growing unless i forgot to water it LOL What I have def learned to love about the sansi is the price! It works great for my budget and in every setting so far. I do have one question though. I have a now one leaved treubii moonlight and it HATES LIFE. I've tried medium light, lower light, sunlight, etc would you consider putting it under one of the little clip lights from sansi or do you grow one? I have tried looking online and it seems i am either just highly inadequate at providing it the care requirements OR the people who do have a nice lush one just bought it LOL or I am just missing something and I can't figure out what. Since I don't see many plantubers anymore talking about this plant I'm assuming most ppl no longer have it but maybe they just aren't that great to talk about? Thats my only GAAAAAAAHHHH plant! lol Thanks Fern!!!

The black ones of the barinas are also magnetic! But they do not come in yellow.

Could you do another hair growth journey update and tips/products? Did you got a shag haircut done or is it just grown out like that? Your hair has gotten so long and beautifull!
@wildfern10 ай бұрын
awe thank you so much! yep, I got a shag haircut :) it was last cut in October, so it's grown out a lot since then too. my hair here was just fresh from the shower with no products.

👋🏼 how r u? Day 3 of your Vds 😅 i’d order some plants from North Shore. I’m very scared cause I had I think three of them already and they died and I think it’s because they’re not in a cabinet with high humidity so I am watching your video charmaine‘s video everybody’s video to make sure this group does not die and I saw that video where the roots had the infestation of mites. Oh my gosh🤢that would creep 🤢me out. Plants r stunning💛💚🌼🍀

Try using black masking tape or Gorilla tape on the LED housing of the white Barrina lights. Not perfect, but cheaper than switching to the black ones.

My 16" Moya strips died after about three months, unfortunately. They literally went "on the blink." Replaced them with a similar item from a different company (Kullsinss) and I'm coming up on three months, so fingers crossed!

How did you mount the grow light in your bedroom for the Wally grow pots? It looks like it was wired in to the house. I’d have to have an electrician mount it.
@wildfern10 ай бұрын
It’s not the hardwired option. It’s just mounted on the ceiling and plugged into a regular outlet on the wall.
@lisaanglim958810 ай бұрын
@@wildfern oh I couldn’t see the cord on the ceiling. It blends into well.

I had to count my grow lights- 16 Living in the North East there is not enough natural light. I would love a Soltach light. Maybe someday.

Did you ever figure out the door situation on your wide cabinet? 😅
@wildfern10 ай бұрын
Nope :( I figured out how to lock it (have to slide a latch on the bottom) but it still doesn’t stay shut unless it’s locked.
@lisaanglim958810 ай бұрын
What do you use to hold the cable up to the bottom of the top of the cabinet?

I’ve wanted to get lights but I’m not wanting an increase in my electricity bill. Have you noticed an increase in yours with that number of grow lights?
@wildfern9 ай бұрын
Hey! It does cause a small increase. It depends on the light of course, but you can expect it to cost around $1/month per light.

Are the grove lights waterproof for cabinets? Like the mother light?
@wildfern10 ай бұрын
Nope
@melanieklarofficial10 ай бұрын
Yikes I didn’t even think about that and they’re in my cabinet😮
@wildfern10 ай бұрын
@@melanieklarofficial it’s probably fine :) I’ve seen lots of people use non-waterproof ones in there with zero issues! I’m just paranoid haha

Man. Over $1.5k in grow light setups. 🤯 The Barrina have worked well for me (and a few cheapy Amazon lights before I found the Barrina).

I think they’re tricky! Lots of sun and water needed.

Nice video thank you! Just a comment, please realise that the mechanical timers use as much energy as 4W LED bulb. The ones that you can switch with your mobile phone do not use (or just a very small amount), only when you switch and not in between.
