One way to keep the variegation establish on the philodendron burle marx is chop every time that his leaf comes green, doing this you give more opportunity to come variegated leafs. In yours, you would cut where the first non variegated leaf came. I hope I've helped 💚🌱

I was totally the same with multiples of the same plant so I started potting them all up together then just take them out as I decide what I want to do with them. It can mean disturbing them slightly more than necessary but most plants don't care (though I wouldn't do it with an alocasia ;) ) Makes care much easier.

2:17 I think your walleniana doesn’t like that grow light on the trailing leaves, bc it’s growing on the top where the light isn’t hitting it that much. so I think the light or heat is just drying those leaves out. Hoyas can be tricky like that! Lol

I was looking at the orchids as well! I almost got the Paphiopedium Concolor, it’s a terrestrial orchid so it can be potted in soil and happens to prefer lower light. The sophrontis cernua is also a great choice, they stay very compact, if you have a space issue and don’t require high light.

Gorgeous collection! I found a beautiful full 4" pot of variegated Thanksgiving cactus (didn't know it existed) in my pharmacy of all places! If you're looking for orchid recommendations from a total orchid noob I would so recommend the Jewel Orchid, it's an amazingly cute terrestrial orchid I've been growing for several months- it has been really easy and a really prosperous grower as well. It has had a small growth habit, and has been doing okay in slightly lower medium light for me. It's a really cute plant you should check it out!

I just noticed that you have stated that your ficus Audrey is not growing. I have given it the Osmo cote fertilizer. I’m not kidding. I got three new leaves within two months. I have used Osmo cote about 12 years ago. And I forgot how much I loved it. And now I think it’s the best thing ever all I have to do is water throw it on there every couple times a year. The best stuff ever!

Hi! For the fenestrations on the Thai I think it has to do with heat…I have a regular green small form and the one summer it was outside it put out a leaf with the most fenestrations ever. There was even a second off shoot that put out a tiny leaf with a ton of fenestrations. After coming back inside it hasn’t put out a leaf with even close to as many fenestrations as the summer outside leaves. Idk if it’s really related but I think more heat = more fenestrations

My Ficus Audrey didn't grow for like 8 months and I realized it actually needs to be watered every week. I was watering it every 2 weeks and although it still looked good and healthy, this one definitely likes to be consistently moist. Once I did that and gave it the right light, she gives me 1-2 leaves per month. Definitely still a slow grower.
