In 1969, Corgi Toys introduced the Ferrari 206 Dino Sport car into production. Already in 1968, it was presented in its catalog as a car with removable wheels. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any photos of a model with Golden Jack wheels anywhere. My model, bought at a flea market, was in a terrible condition. Many parts were torn off. Thanks to the fact that I had a few Ferrari Dino Sport models in better condition, I was able to copy parts from them to this model so that it would return to its best shape. My Ferrari Dino definitely came from the beginning of production because it has wheels with nylon or Teflon inserts. These wheels were the beginnings of models that had low rolling resistance. They were later replaced with normal plastic wheels.

Maestro. An inordinate number of fiddly parts to fabricate and fit to the body of this Dino project. The little black piece dead center under the middle of the car? What does that do? The blue-tint glass was especially tasteful and pleasing. I confess the doors being left white mystifies me. It is important to SOMEONE! Watching the transition on the turntable from before and after was magnificent. My spouse and I both went "ooo!" when the finished car took it's bow!!❤❤

This reminds me of my first encounter with a Dino. I walked into a boutique type car sales dealership and was amazed by the car in front of me.Sheepishly, I asked what type of car it was.Salesmen smiled.. That's a Dino. I had no clue. Salesman again ..a Dino ,as in Dino Ferrari. I felt kind of dumb but was still amazed.Just as amazing as Paul's restore!

Witam! Jestem poczatkowcem w tej sprawie. Poproś o bardzo pomoc mi, jaki są lakiery polecasz do renowacji i malowania modeli. Mam przenośny pistolet do malowania. Lub, jak dla początkującego, może dobra jest farba w sprayu

Witam. Ja używam farb i lakierów samochodowych akrylowych. Uważam że one są wytrzymalsze niż farby modelarskie. Jako podkładową używam farbę samochodową epoksydową która jest również antykorozyjna i dobrze przylega do stopu z którego wykonane są modele. Na początku proponowałbym ci korzystanie z farb w sprayu ponieważ jest to tańsza opcja. Ja również głównie maluje sprayem natomiast wykańczam modele aerografem używając dwuskładnikowego lakieru bezbarwnego który jest z utwardzaczem.
