Just remove the mid case (see my video on DCT repair for link to instructions on how to remove speed sensor). You will need special tools to disassemble (we have for $1150) and two holders for the gearbox ($700). Then remove the rear most seal facing the rear of the transmission paying attention to the orientation (same direction as forward seal, not mirrored). Then remove the tiny retaining clip (may have to press bearing further into it's seat). Heat the case to 200C being careful not to heat the bearing inner race or other sensors or plastics around it. Remove the bearing without prying on the plastic inner race (small 90 degree punch or prybar can be used on the outer race once it is slightly out of its seated position; hitting the case with a rubber mallet while the bearing is facing the floor should unseat it). Clean everything thoroughly with brake clean. Apply loctite 648 retaining compound to the outside of the bearing. Gently tap on outer race until it's fully seated. Possible to drip some more loctite along the seam of the outer race and the case just don't get it in the bearing. Heat the case around the bearing. Reinstall the lock ring. Install the special seal. Reassemble the gearbox.
