Drive-by George here. Driving this car for the outside shots in this film was the stuff dreams are made of. I can confirm it's as good, nay better, than you hope it will be. Driving that car, in that weather, in my favourite bit of Scotland... Err... I mean Hertfordshire has been a defining moment in my car life. Thank you James.

Jay,,I hope you read this.I'm a 55 year old man from Montreal, Canada. I recently retired with full pension from a job I didn't particularly like but it allowed me to persue my real passion, singing and DJ'ing. I'm still doing both and it's been about 30 years I've been at it. It allowed me to buy 4 of my "supercars" over the years,,A Toyota MR2 MK 1. I now have a '89 Supercharged model and I couldn't be more happy. You've had quite the life up until now I must say but you've survived and prospered. Kudos to you! You didn't have to share all of that with us but you did and it has given me the kick in the pants to go out there and actually do more in regards to getting more jobs in the music scene(I've been a bit lazy and just doing my "regular" gigs). I've been watching your posts for years but never subscribed but after hearing your inspiring story you have a new subscriber!! Cheers!

My goodness, what an amazing story James, I am so happy you are being blessed and that your dreams are becoming a reality. I clicked on the thumbnail of your 1000th video and I was moved and Inspired by your life’s path. Funny how I just turned 30 and I too have bought my dream car, a 2001 s2000 and I just can’t believe how life turns out even better than we imagine. I have driven this car from Colorado in America, all over Mexico. I have taking my mother on Holiday drives and It’s been amazing and better than I have hoped for. Driving your dream car in a lovely road makes one appreciate every single blessing we persue and receive. Stay awesome and thanks for sharing your prancing horse and words with us all.

It takes a certain level of grit to look at one’s own “failures“ in such great detail. Let alone to write a story about them and place it on the Video website. Respect. 100% respect. Only with reflection the night management of our failures can we go onto our successes. But it hurts to look inwards doesn’t it? Please do enjoy this car. You’ve earned it the hard way!

Brilliant looking and sounding car 😍 and perfect location to take it for a spin 👌🏻 In regards to the settings it’s funny really that the general reaction to driving settings is it must be in the fastest mode incase you miss out on some minute performance gain, but yet its a supercar it’s never going to have an actual “slow” mode it’s always going to be ballistic in all of the settings 😂 quiet mode is the setting to turn off 😉

Loved the comment about sharing the car with others, I am a new Ferrari owner, 2010 California, and was with the club on Sunday in Ludlow. We stopped for a walk around a farm shop, and then a pint (1/2 really). Came out to leave, and a young family was taking pictures of the car. I told them to wait, and asked them to record the car starting up. They were really happy and that's probably the best part of owning it.

Didn't come across as pretentious at all. Loved this one. The extra cinematics as a viewer was absolutely worth your editing cost for doing it. I turned on the hifi. What I took from this was to remind me that if you have a destination, to remember there are multiple ways to get there. If the road you're on is filled with grandma's and roadworks, find and persue an alternate route.

So glad I came across your channel, as im sure you have read in other comments. It's like a fresh less mouthy born again Clarkson. I dont think the motoring industry will ever be able to remake or compete with the original top gear that all of us have gotten to love. Its some of my most nostalgic and fondest memories sitting down at night with my brother watching top gear. It was the best programme the BBC ever produced. It was a sad ending when it ended but I can't watch the new people who have replaced them. Much the same with cars its all about the chemistry, in cars its the engine how it complements the interior the style the drama and its performance. Tv is the same Clarkson May Hammond there chemistry just works they all had a USP they brought there show. Your channel could seriously go places with the video style you have brought, although defenitely Top Gear inspired, its still different, its still got a uniqueness to it that I think you could develop into something much bigger. Hey maybe into a TV programme. Thing I most love in this vid is the honesty transparency and admitting defeat but bouncing back. Not gloating and sugar coating it to have been a sweet ride. That for me counts ten fold so keep up the work and hope this channel really sky rockets

You have worked hard for your achievements. No need to worry about coming across as a git, because you're far from it. You're one of the best motoring journalists in the world, honest, entertaining, and genuine. Bravo sir

There is no car that Ferrari has built, past or present, that is as much of a dream car for me as a standard F12. I don't know how many times I have watched the Top Gear video about it. I hope I will own one some day. Congratulations on the purchase.

You’re videos over the years show your true love of cars and production skills. You deserve the success and I can’t wait to see more cars for many years to come. No one can review a car like you-your ability to talk so clearly about the car whilst driving without losing track of what you are saying is unique. Keep doing what you do.

The story of your life and how you never gave up on your dream but continued to evolve it and yourself is so inspiring to me as an amateur film maker at the beginning of his career and life long car nut . Thank you so much for this.

Fantastic video. Loved every second. I think what a lot of people don't realise is that supercars aren't just owned by people born into obscene wealth who have never had to work a day in their lives. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are some, but a lot, if not most, supercar owners are really children who are living out their dream, having worked hard and been through a lot to get to where they are. Same with the maninetto thing. I'm pretty sure the criticism only really comes from people who haven't bought a dream car at massive cost. When you've worked so hard to achieve your dream, you want to do your absolute best to protect it, and the fact that the Maninetto has a wet mode is, I think, brilliant. The fact it also makes the car better to drive in the wet is an added bonus. And what a car the F12 is. I've never been much of a modern Ferrari person, my favourites being the F355 and F50, but from watching your videos I've come to massively respect them, I see the appeal, and the F12 is probably one of the best candidates for me. Lovely. Keep on achieving, you deserve it. And thankyou. Thankyou for sharing your ownership, warts and all, the emotions and so on. It lets people like me live vicariously through your experiences 😁

That intro was superb. Fascinating to hear your "origin" story, & loved that quote "like any man who was lost, I simply refused to take directions..." - spot on, & congrats on the 200K

I have always had a love for the Berlinetta's. The 575 Maranello, 599 GTB Fiorano, F12 and the 812 Superfast. With the Novitec n Largo is just epic sounding. But the V12 Ferrari's are just lovely. I miss the days of the GT1 Ferrari's racing at Le Mans, it was an epic sight and sound to behold.

The number plate on the F12 in Clarkson's film is F12 FNE.. Yours is F12 TOO. A tribute perhaps? This is a wonderfully made film. Your candid honesty is refreshing. Your love of cars shines through and man, the enjoyment of that drive is felt all the way across the pond here in the southeastern US. Thank you for sharing and taking us along for the ride! Congratulations on your F12!
