Ah, Cortina d'Ampezzo. Brings back memories. Forty three years ago, just before Christmas, I ventured there with a few friends. Late one evening we went to the town centre and saw something quite strange... British workmen fitting windows in a shop front, so we had a chat. They told us they were making the shop ready for an action scene in a James Bond movie. Basically, they were installing special 'sugar glass' for actors to smash through the following morning. If I remember correctly, guys on motorbikes were going to crash through the window. Anyway, we then decided to go to a Disco. The moment the staff heard us speaking English, they asked if we were with the James Bond crew, so we laughed and jokingly said yes. To our surprise, they thought we were serious and provided us with free booze all evening. I think we tried every cocktail on the menu. Good times! Oh yes, the Ferrari... very nice, very nice indeed. Massive points for Ferrari for introducing the car with a naturally aspirated V12! Together with the clever suspension it feels Ferrari didn’t take the easy way out, but actually created something that does not exist in the market. I think physical maps like that actually have one advantage over digital and that is that they can show you if you have bitten off more than you can chew for you planned route. Watching and listening from behind a thick stand of tall pine trees as you carve a series of S curves and come into the clear. Watching from behind as the suspension works to maintain grip when exiting corners. And, throughout it all, the glorious sound of the engine. This car more than likely features the pre-production door seals. Long story short, I asked about them at the Scandinavian launch party in November because they looked odd. The Chief Marketing Director told me that the Euro certification for the final design was something they were waiting on as there was a backlog on some of those things. I suspect that these early pre-production cars feature this door seal. Looking at how silent a Lusso is inside, I know Ferrari knows how to make a quiet cabin.

What an epic drive in a truly exceptional car. Call me old but the idea of having a performance car I can drive and have room for the family not just to get them from point A to point B but to actually be able to share the drive with them is becoming more and more appealing to me all the time and this Purosangue hits the mark perfectly. This is the Ferrari for me. Thanks again for the video. Well done as always and well done Ferrari, Well done indeed.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this car, until I heard that V12. Wonderful sound. Having said that, the LM002 remains my favorite "exotic SUV".

Well done Ferrari for going with a naturally aspirated V12 - real class - and a really high-tech suspension system, probably better than anything else on the road.

Dare I say I like the scenery more than the car!!! both are lovely

Toyota Soarer V8 in 1991 had true active suspension, 4 wheel steer too. It is still the best active car ever made, Porsche adapted the Toyota system for PDCC. I had one and it was just as you describe the PURO... Ferrari are 32yrs behind Toyota on that. It's a sort of oddball, quirky looking thing to me, too much like the silly Urus to be anything other than a rich person's confection.

Mercedes also has had their ABC fully active suspension in production for a couple decades, with a production debut (well after Toyota) on the 1999 cl class.

Obviously loads of videos from the usual channels on this press launch, but this is the only video I need to watch. Excellent review as always, and puts a honest perspective on it for us folk who can only dream rather than over relations, up to the "why have I ordered this car" look at me videos

Harry could have reviewed a bicycle in this video, and it still would have been great to watch because the mountain scenery is just spectacular. Love these adventure style reviews! 👍

Of course I had to watch Harry's video first! Beautiful scenery in this one. I like Ferrari's take on this "totally not an SUV" thing. I think they should have made it an option to make it a 5 seater. Also they can't move on from that haptic feedback UI quick enough. A complete disaster. Sticky buttons would be preferable to that mess.
