So nice to see these legends being properly used. Honestly I'd loose the spare to spare the interior. I think nobody is interested in shots of cars sliding and looking glamorous and presenters going on about the figures. What's really interesting is what these rare fantastic cars are like in a regular day to day use. It's right there you realize that owning these is an adventure every time you drive them out of your garage. Thank you Harry for posting!

I'm pretty sure most people who follow this series are more interested in Harry than they are in his cars. He's one of the few rich guys who is also a nice guy and a genuine car guy. Thanks to his vids we plebes get to see how a (nice) rich guy deals with life's little challenges. And then there are the road trips. Harry gets the crazy notion to drive a Testarossa to the Riviera to check on his boat -- a rich-guy fantasy for most of us but he invites us along to participate in the adventure. And he shares with us not just the high points but also the little frustrations and occasional crises that are part of all road trips, along with the challenges of driving an exotic in the real world. Co-piloting a Testarossa on a long journey is far more interesting than watching fast laps at a track. Thanks for sharing the experience and I hope for many more. Request: a Citroen DS 21 or the new C9. And keep the beard, it's manly and a bit bohemian, which you certainly are. Please keep getting crazy ideas about long road trips in interesting cars and don't forget to bring us along!

A MAP? OMG in the world of smartphones and GPS's , someone still has a Map ! Well done Harry! :)
@Krabadaque6 жыл бұрын
On a map you get an overview over the country and its roads that you won't get from a satnav, you see. On car trips to places I've never been (and even to places I have been!) I very much like to have a map with me.
@GrrMeister6 жыл бұрын
I'm older (not so sure now after watching video) OK I'm 75½ but look much less as my mirror and wife tells me - than Harry and move with the times, Sat-Nav and Smartphone and use Google Maps with very latest maps and traffic information. Also occasionally use HereWeGo and Waze, both ok. The heads up display on 'Here' very good but now expired after free trial. Having said that in early 60's on Triumph 350cc (Bathtub) Motorcycle set out from home age 19 (Midlands UK) to Rimini (Italy) with only a small map of Europe. Realised when I got to Switzerland needed a bigger map and bought one at top of Brunig pass. Did all the journey including top of Gotthard Pass no problems. Remember this was before AutoRoutes in France or elsewhere except AutoBahns. On way back different route through Austria & Germany and got lost in LONDON !!!! When were you born Harry ? It was a Very Good Year ! Regards Grahame W (RG500 Pepsi-Suzuki Schwantz replica) Just watched again and at 15:52 you have a Garmin Sat Nav !!!! Take back some previous comments ?

When it was new (the TR) I didn't like it that much, compared to the GTO and F40 of the day, something that was even more noticeable when the 355 came out, but nowadays, I just enjoy, and appreciate all and every detail on the Testarossa. Great video as always. Just to say about the heater issue. If the air blows cold, and the radiators feel a bit cool, but it's losing coolant, I hate to say it but it could well be a head gasket going, even if you don't see any gunk in the coolant or any other symptoms at all. There are several cars where exactly this set of symptoms develops with a failing head gasket, and it usually happens in winter as well for some strange reason. The next thing to look out for of course would be oil pouring down the side of the engine somewhere, usually all over the alternator just to be even more annoying. I hope it's nothing that serious, and usually when they fail like this there is no long term damage at all, but obviously a costly job because you really have to skim the head as well to make sure it doesn't just happen again. Anyway I'll keep my fingers crossed, and please do a Testarossa update video to let us know the news. In fact it would be good to see little update videos about the various cars and their maintenance.
