Their room is looking awesome! Our ferret room is new to our ferrets, I got it painted. I picked a light gray, but it looks blue! We painted straight over a dingy yellow so maybe that is why. I don't know. We put down vinyl flooring, the sticker kind, and so far it's working out great. I want to get a shaggy rug I found on Amazon, but I haven't committed to it yet. They don't seem to have a problem with the vinyl floor, other than it will feel cold in winter I'm sure. I like how you put the pads/blankets under the litter boxes. We have been putting down puppy wee pads, and they prefer them now over the litter boxes, but some are still *going* off pad, but that is why we put in a hard floor. I've noticed that they think they are on the pad, but the back end is not, so I add more pads, but that just made the bathroom area larger. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Ugh I can't win. 🤣 They still have their ferret nation cage. I leave a door open so they can sleep in it if they want. All their food and water is attached inside the cage because our 2 youngest boys would tip over everything we tried to keep on the floor. If it was non-tip, they still figured out how to knock it over. Ferrets are too smart sometimes. ❤️ Anyway, I love what you've done with their room, it looks so great!!

Your room sounds similar! I love the vinyl floor, it’s soooo much better than the carpet, it so easy to clean. I used paint with primer in it, but fortunately, the wall was a pale yellow before we painted it and the blue went on pretty good, but I did have to do two coats. I also leave the cage open, sometimes they sleep in their. I think they like it because it feels safe. I still want to add some stuff to better organize all their liners and toys 😂. They have more liners than I have bed sheets 🤦‍♀️. And the long washable pee pads are amazing! If I didn’t put something under the litter boxes, they would use the boxes less. Their pretty good about using them, as long as I scoop them out every few hours. They don’t like them to me dirty at all.
