Very cool! If I were to suggest a couple features, it would be the option to have the fluid respond to different ranges of frequencies, seems to be only tuned towards drum/bass ranges at the moment. I have another idea that involves the shapes the fluid forms under strong magnets. I'm sure you've seen how ferrofluid will form a spiky surface in the right conditions and it changes with differences in magnetic strength and arrangement. If you were to program in a list of preset "poses" for the fluid, you could write a code that shifts between them in time with the music. I think the result would be pretty cool and would contrast nicely with the more organic shapes. Not sure if that's feasible for this or not though. Perhaps you could experiment with using something like a 4 magnet setup and have the code switch between the magnets in different patterns for a cool effect.

This is amazing. Would it be possible to customize the background lighting to be any color, like green for example, or does it only work with white? This is probably a dumb question that has an obvious yes or no answer but idk how ferrofluid works lol

Dear friend, how do you work glass? Distilled water with salt, diluted with alcohol works very well, but in the short term ... If you take a permanent magnet and stick it on a container with a ferromagnetic liquid, then after a few hours an indelible mark will remain on the glass :(
