the more and more Evangelical Latin America becomes, they less and less you'll see of this kind of stuff. Catholicism actually helped preserve the indigenous traditions because they basically just changed the names of the deities, but kept the traditions.

Bolivians and almost all Latin Americans are a mix of indigenous and European, so there's nothing wrong with having traditions that mix both cultures. You cant change history and you cant erase the cultural mixing that happened
