Enjoyed your tour of Beaufort. I live on the river about 8 miles south of there so it is like a home town. The fishing vessel you asked about in Charleston Harbor is a Shrimp Trawler. I owned and Captained one similar to it for about 15yrs. Shem Creek, just up the shore from where you entered the ICW leaving the Harbor, is the home of one of the largest shrimp fleets still remaining on the SC Coast. You and 1st Mate Wavey have a safe voyage!

Hiya Brenton! Old viewer here. Yes, Dixie is not forgotten, but on the other hand those that remember are fading fast. The last couple of generations have near zero connection. But, being one that does still feel it I have to thank you. I have found that it is a fact that yankees fall into two camps. Those who love the south. Those who hate the south. It's always been that way. West guys generally don't care much one way or the other. It was a pleasure, not kidding, watching you appreciate what you were seeing. Like I said, these days you'd be hard pressed to find two southern borns that would give it more than a glance. History is cool wherever you find it, isn't it? Great episode thanks for taking us along. Pet the brat for me. Many tire shops that service forestry and industrial would a good spot to find them they are thicker than normal. Keep on keeping on.

The American Wind Symphony Orchestra (AWSO) is known for its unique floating concert stage, Point Counterpoint II. This vessel, designed by the renowned architect Louis I. Kahn, is 195 feet long and 38 feet wide1. The AWSO has been performing on waterways across the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and northern Europe for over 58 years23. The orchestra’s mission is to bring music and cultural experiences to various communities, often performing in places that are not typically visited by major orchestras2. The floating stage allows them to travel and perform in diverse locations, making classical music more accessible to a wider audience
