Something about "he has a typewriter, and you don't!" from Chloe Sevigny cracks me up. I fell in love with her in this role having not really cared for her much before. She's fabulous!

That was an earth growling *fuck you slim*...quiet rage in her voice. The swans were indeed arseholes, thinking they'd be wanted at Ann's funeral. These elitists were bruuuuutal!

They didn’t. All of Ann’s scenes are fabricated as not only was she never a Swan but she and Truman were never friends at any time in real life. The series is taking enormous dramatic liberties that’s is almost fiction. They chose to add her to the series because Truman included her in the LA COTÊ BASQUE 1965 article. All these confrontation scenes with Ann are fully fabricated for the series - none of them ever took place as she was never part of Truman’s social circle.

I'm surprised that the general consensus is that people never knew Demi Moore could act. She's not been in the best projects but she has always been natural and fascinating to watch. Her struggling social princess in St Elmo's Fire is stunning work and that was right at the start of her career.

Exactly but he also hated on her before before....like since 1955 when she shot her husband. He made up more stories to fuel the fire.

@@variousJnamesTruman had met Ann before at a resort somewhere. She was eating her dinner when Truman approached her table and tried to introduce himself. She was annoyed at him interrupting her meal and tried to send him away; he, knowing her recent history, called her "Mrs Bang-bang", referring to her shooting her husband, assuming he was a robber.

Throughout the series, I love how the characters would use the term, "dear" when they were being pissy. High society used "dear" in place of "bitch".
