Instead, we took a Finnish tradition of the Groom walking to the top of the aisle, greeting the bride, and walking down the aisle together. That way we started on the path of marriage together. We’ve been married 30 years as of June!

I know… I got married on a beach in the Dominican Republic it was 30 degrees and sunny and even my groom wore long pants. They were light and flowy but it was appropriate attire for the most important day of our lives.
