Aliyah's character and loving kindness to everyone is universally acknowledged among everyone who watched the Fever's games. I only got to know her character this season, and it's amazing. Many Fever fans have commented that she can't be an enforcer; it's just not a part of her humanity. I agree. If every player had her attitude, the WNBA wouldn't have to worry about hate, racism, sexism, dirty plays, or social media comments. I also think Lexie's attitude is much like Aliyah's.

Maybe the best thing everyone can get from CC is how she ignores social media comments and just plays the game. You personally grew so much this year in terms of your movement without the ball. It was so much fun watching you click in that area and start to be open more and more in the paint. Great comment about the mental aspect of the game. Love, love, love the Fever, AB, CC, Kelsey, and all the rest … as do most true IF fans. Consider that the opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is indifference. We IF fans are not indifferent. Why would we be? Expressed hate comes from unfulfilled expectations and disappointment. This hate is not ok. It is not acceptable. It serves only to undermine, devalue, and destroy that which we love. We need to love our IF when we win and when we don’t. They give their all and leave everything on the court. True IF fans need to appreciate that and we need to control our emotions when things don’t go our way. There’s always next year and the future is so bright we need to break out our shades.
