I used to spend my summer holidays at my uncle Tom's place in Tryphena. We sailed on his 50ft sloop and caught some great fish every day. It was a paradise for us kids.

Daniella, you mentioned safety first a few times. So have you considered using checklists for pre departure for example. Sailing Britican has a full compliment of checklists available to any sailor.

Heya Andrew, I definitely use a checklist for the offshore passages, but haven't used one for these smaller passages. I know Mike in our Patreon whatsapp group started using one and might be worth a think about. It definitely becomes more necessary if the boat is unfamiliar to you! @Sailngbritican are fantastic! They have so many resources!!!!

Heya Adam! We left around 7:45am and arrived just before sunset, so about 12 hours it seems? The sailing at the end definitely slowed us down, but totally worth it!
