I did this with 2 addendums: the first being the dragon communion seal in my off hand (the one not holding the dane's footwork), though mostly this was for more of a reason to actually use the stone heart dragon form, and really play into "I'm a corrupted dragonborn, I breathe corruption", as well as just a little bit of faith to also be able to cast golden vow. The second was the other hand-to-hand, mostly because its the only other one you can get right off the bat, with which I would use endure, for those moments where I needed more poise. Youre already pretty light, it didn't cost me any extra, and its mostly just for a little more utility.

Thanks for the build, Poison has definitely gotten a massive amount of love in the DLC. My favorite build thus far is a Poison Godskin Peeler, utilizing the absurdly good running heavy to inflict poison status with the Poison Hand in the off hand.

You'd be better off with a str+arc build and gargoyles twinblade instead of the peeler. Believe it or not but you'll get a higher AR that way. Plus two handing it gives you the bonus 1.5x strength so you can invest points elsewhere

Frankly, don't go with the blue dancer charm with no armor, use actual armor + the Mushroom Crown and Divine Bird Warrior Greaves Blue dancer charm is providing about a 14% buff to physical damage at this equip load, however the Divine Bird Warrior Greaves provide a +5% damage boost to all kick attacks, and the Mushroom Crown adds another 10% damage boost for 20 seconds on poison procs. While these are more limited damage increases, going this route means you have a Lot more Survivability with actual armor. You can even slot in another damage buff talisman in the place of Blue Dancer, such as Rotten Wing Sword Insignia to further make up, if not outright exceed, the damage output of having blue dancer charm.

What is not explained here, and which Chrightt explained in the video this build is pretty obviously based on, is that you use the Blue Dancer Charm alongside the Rock Heart to gain stacking bonuses to the physical Dragon Communion spells (Dragon Claw, Dragon Maw, Rotten Breath, and Ekzykes' Decay) while still gaining a solid bonus to your melee attacks. It's the crux of the entire build, which fails to justify itself without that synergy.

I made this build almost like for like a few weeks ago. but I also added Poison Perfume to the build as the weapon art will immediately trigger Kindred Of Rot, Poison Hand, and Mushroom attack buffs. I also used Divine Bird Warrior Greaves as well as the Gravebird Armor to improve jumping attacks

I use this same weapon setup. Danes Footwork with TPFBT is INSANELY strong. Especially with shard of Alexander and the new dlc talisman that improves damage of all kick attacks which works not only on the ash of war, but on any moves in the Danes Footwork that involves kicking which is like 70% of the moveset. Absolutely crazy weapon setup.

Additionally, you could add dragon communion spells for those posion/rot resistant enemies. The dragon maw and claw also get boosted by blue dancer charm and rock heart and has hyper armor, they hit like a truck! Also the rot breath deals physical damage so that stacks too. It’s a super fun build :)

I've been working on a build with this on Dane's Footwork, and then the normal Dryleaf Arts being cold-infused with the Divine Beast Stomp. It works pretty well, honestly. What I'd love to do is run a bunch of different effects--cold, bleed--on different ones.

I landed on a build very close to this. I went full arcane and enough faith for dragon incants then once I got dragon form, boom. I would also some times use the poison hand as it benefits from arcane and the two hand moveset is still good.

Haven't reached Dane's footwork yet, but antspur rapier works for now at least. Wish there were more ways to apply rot like weapon infusions, better control for alternating status procs that way

Something worth noting for this build is that you can throw dragon communion seal on for free since if weighs nothing, and therefore won’t hurt your blue dancers charm, and you can use physical based dragon spells like dragon claw/maw and rotten breath and those spells will be buffed by your blue dancers charm, the dragon communion seal itself, you can use the rock heart buff, AND your poisoned hand and kindred of rot buffs. My go to combo is to use rock heart before any tough enemy, then use the poisoned hand AoW on enemies for an immediate poison proc which activates its own buff as well as kindred of rot, then I’ll swap to my seal and go for a dragon maw and then immediately follow dragon maw with poison flower blooms twice. That combo alone will do serious amounts of damage as well as respectable stance damage. Generally though just working some physical based dragon spells into this build really go a long way in some instances.

I'm looking to do a Cold version of this build with the Divine Beast Frost Stomp AoW because that works with the talisman too. Stats would be something like 40 in both Str and Dex and just 20 in Int. Good thing about that is I could also use the Greatswords of Radahn too.

Alternatively, you can level the poison hand, use that to apply deadly poison and rip that off in 20 seconds when the rot talisman runs off. Then apply scarlet rot and repeat when the talisman wears off

A good idea is to wait for ur rot talisman damage bonus to end before using poison flower blooms twice. If you wanted burst damage bleed is better for that. You get way more out of skill if u wait for the scarlet rot to slowly drain the enemies health. Once the damage bonus ends get that sweet burst damage and apply it again and repeat until dead.

Since you’re using dragon form you should add in dragon maw and any other physical dragon communion spells they will get affected by the dancers and rot talismans and it’s great to be able to have that so you can have a strong attack while you’re letting poison tick for your other talismans I like the one that gives more healing with flasks and the dragon crest great shield

As you go for a no gear transformation, would it make sense to use Lamenter's instead for the +8 arcane? You could put arcane to 37 and the 8 points to str/dex if 45 arcane is the desired cap. Stone heart does give slightly more res though so is that the reason?

So to maxmaize the build I found a better option is to first go full arcane in an occult build then use a dagger or any other dagger with a A scale in arcane and put the posions mist ash of war it has ok damage but it has a massive posion build up I manged to posion the final dlc boss 3 times in a row with just hitting him point blank with the ash of war then you switch to the dry leaf arts use the buff to deal high damage then before the buff is over use the flower kick

This is really funny! For those unfamiliar with the term, "double dragon" is a nickname for a stomach bug, where you vomit and have diarrhea at the same time. It's call double dragon because you're spewing from both sides.

Blue dancer is incredibly ineffective in the DLC imo, like in this build you could have Rakshasa armor and bird greaves for more damage with kicks. That will land you with pretty much same damage, more armor and free up a talisman slot

I would just go with the venom fang and infuse it with occult because you’re building deadly poison which although is 30 seconds it deals more dmg over time than both regular poison and scarlet rot, also I would say claws are still better than the hand to hand weapons. And honestly if you wanted to apply rot just go with the incantations because they do more dmg over time than weapons skills in a span of 90 seconds.

I feel like you are missing out a lot by not taking advantage of the Dragon communion incantations. Like the physical based Dragonmaw which is buffed by your low weight talisman and all the other buffs plus the dragon form buff.
