Weirdly, that's my least favorite part of the song - not just this version, but the original and (nearly) every cover. I love the spooky intro, and I love the action of the main body, but that transition . . . man, it just feels off to me. But I recognize I'm an outlier here. This cover is great. But some day. Some day I'll find a cover that tweaks it somehow - less pounding beats, more accelerando cacophony, maybe? I'm definitely going to check out the rest of this group's work. @@EnricoDeianamusic The game sold 9.6m copies so there's still hope. Maybe some people didn't like the whole draw/junction system but I'm sure if they do a remake they will come up with something less laborious.

Definitely a pretty badass track because it maintains that stubborn kick while articulating a lot of orchestral and Synth sounds. Mix's work here was really crucial.

Grazie Marco. Sarebbe già un miracolo se davvero annunciassero un remake di FF8. Io sinceramente dubito. Mi risulta che comunque le case produttrici giapponesi tendano ad avere praticamente l'intero cast di co-nazionali, o mi sbaglio? È molto difficile da europeo essere assunto per lavori di marchio nipponico. Non nasconderei una notizia di tale entità di Hype 😂

Might just be a "me" thing, but I've always felt like the part (in the original track) between 3:25 and 3:35 was too short for the build-up it got. Like, everything from 2:02 until then was building up to a powerful melody drop, but then it... only lasts 10 seconds? And doesn't repeat? Doesn't iterate? Strange choice by Uematsu. The orchestration of this cover, though? No mistakes anywhere here!
