For those who aren't in the know: 1.0 had notoriously bad lag and horrendous maze-like areas. Black Shroud, for example, was a massive web of same-y areas that all criss crossed, making it impossible to find where you needed to go. Especially since there was NO MINIMAP. So, finding your way out of any area was a massive feat.

So, on Dynamis, it's actually NOT rude to go into later level dungeons without your job stone. Due to the powerful leveling bonus, it's very easy for sprouts to hit class level 30 or even 50 or 60 without ever actually getting to the MSQ prog point that allows you to pick up job stones (whether that's because they're single-classing MSQ or because they've been doing a ton of roulettes/side content on their way). Because of this most people running roulettes on Dynamis are very understanding of sprouts not having job stones, and it's not seen as a bad thing here the way that it is on other DCs. You were actually in the clear to do leveling roulette as a gladiator the whole time! (: Source: I am a Dynamis native who spends 99% of my time, actually doing content on Dynamis. (I'm actually Solo's next door neighbour!)

⁠@@zw6333 in particular, those lalafells that are named like Homestuck trolls (six letters for first and last name) will always be ARC/BRD because they can then clip and then shoot very quickly so it allows for the most efficient leveling. When they are not speaking about Gil they always say 0 because that allows for either teleportation or confirmation.

I know it's possible, but now I kinda want to see an Eorzea-only run of this. It's a tooooon more options, but you'll never get to the end of Stormblood. You can get to the Lochs but you'll likely never be able to fly there. Goals would be: GC captain and seal cap for each, buy their Lieutenant Set Buy each Allied Seal item Crafters n Gatherers to 60 stories All jobs to 60 minimum Unlock all expansion jobs One job of your choice must be level 100 Palace of the Dead Floor 200 complete Enough money to buy a small house and an apartment(so about 4 million gil) Gold Saucer Chocobo Racing capped out Triple Triad every NPC in Eorzea Both Alexander and Bahamut Raids complete Both Crystal Tower and Dun Scaith Alliance Raids complete Unlock and complete all dungeons(non-solo) And finally the job of your choice must also get a single DoW/M relic weapon for ARR and Heavensward. So if you pick Warrior, you have to get the completed ARR Axe _and_ the Heavensward Axe.

With Dawntrail coming out, are you going to return to Ul'dah to unlock Viper? All you need to unlock it is have a level 80 character and have the new expansion. In the patch notes for the Dawntrail release it made mention that the Viper starting quest would be in Uldah.

500 each is actually a pretty good price for darksteel ore I have been selling the nuggets that take 3 ore plus what ever crystal/shard/cluster they take for 1500 each for 6 years now and never changed the price my retainer collects it all so its just passive money but adds up alot if you send your retainers out fairly often.

@@LazyVoxel black pearls are a crafted item. you craft them from a low level fish (Blacklip Oyster). by buying a cheap stack of that fish, crafting them into pearls, and making them all into hq black pearl rings with the requisite materia melded onto them and then listing them on the mb, you can turn 50~1000 gil into 5~50k gil (per ring). or you can just save money on your own quest by buying the fish instead of the pearl, haha.

During that Gladiator grind to advance Qarn, I wonder if aetherial equipement could've helped. Pink stuff that can drop from a battle leve chest. Iirc, they also have slightly higher stats for their level. Albeit random substats... So, you'd have to get a chest (1/2 or 2/3 leve from personal experience?), have it contain equipement, that equipement should be for your class and, assuming the substats are what makes them stronger, have a nice draw. Seems highly random but it's not that useless considering the huge amount of allowances accumulated during this challenge.

When it comes to Marketboard purchasing in these types of videos I really do recommend looking at other DC's prices as Dynamis due to its small population is usually pricier due to low supply. However I do understand this is kinda against the challenge as it requires hopping around many worlds.

I made an alt that leveled gladiator to 90 without ever getting the job stone. I used a lot of beast tribe and challenge logs since I did not have any msq left for easy exp. I would run Haukke Manor since its as high as you can go before people starting looking at you weird for being a tank without a job stone. Next time I will make sure to turn in the msq quests on it since normal jobs are easier to level.
