YOU. ARE. AWESOME. Your glitch tutorials are the only ones that make sense to me -- too many others are so used to doing this that they skip steps or don't explain them correctly. Floating an NPC was driving me INSANE last night (despite trying to follow Shei's vids), but after watching yours, I *understood* the steps & got them to work. THANK YOU.

5.35, got it to work, much appreciated. The key part is having something just right under their feet, not too much below or above, and doing the rotate-deselect-rotate-deselect thing before you leave house. Works in most attempts.

omg thank you! I was so heartbroken when I saw my vendor was still on the ground after all the height adjustments. Glad to know I just had to rotate then reenter the house.

Thank you so much, Shae's video is good and all but the method she shows is a LOT harder to do than this is and it drives me nuts. Enough that I usually just kept the Namazu on the tables and just made some head cannon about them not wanting to go up and down a bunch with say a stool.

got one to float in 6.05, had it floating much higher than needed and it drops down to the object you have underneath for it to stand on. so is somewhat easier.

my namazu's frame was actually floating but it still stays below even after exiting. i was trying to put it on an aquarium. is there something amiss?

Never got it to stick. This is after patch 5.35. /cry Tried 3 times. Carefully following the video. I get the NPC " silhouette model" to float, and move the crate I want under, Back out, leave the house. AND NOTHING. /cry I am using a Female oriental Lalafell, who have a bowing animation. But that shouldn't change anything.........

It's not the glitch. Likely the furniture used or something during the process. Half the "fun" is finding alternatives when the original setup doesn't work. Good luck!
