In FF7 for PS1 immediately after Aerith's death, a devastating event for Cloud, he goes snowboarding. . . so it would also be time to put an end to these criticisms for their own sake. it's like criticizing the lord of the rings because instead of making all the mess they made, it was enough to take the eagles directly to go to mordor. come on, what you wrote and what you write is ridiculous. Final Fantasy is like this, moments of tension broken by funny things, in full oriental style from which no manga or anime is excluded.

My tip for the desert rush minigame is to go around only focusing on unlocking the gears first/building timer, then do a second pass and get all the boxes

too many tbh it kind of breaks up the narrative of the main game, teh side quests in the previous were a bit more appropriate. Casualties of attempting open world gaming with a tons of little side things to collect and do in 20x the physical space youd have to traverse in the previous game.

Getting the platinum is the most annoying thing after getting the top rank in the mini-games. Some of these are impossible with my slower reaction times I'm not even going to try it on Hard mode.

Comments like these confuse me. They put so much effort and work into these things that you can do once and just never come back to. Some people actually love and appreciate these things that were expanded upon from the original game. Like how do you see all this as a negative? Doesn’t make sense to me lol.
