Watched the Aerith revive tutorial which is mentioned in this video which was recommend by KZbin, checked you had a New Threat 2.0 playthrough as someone else I watched who was playing it had babied out of Hard Mode as no gil was an issue for them so stopped watching it after they changed difficulty. So decided to start this series give it a watch and I have been binging them the past few days and have decided to sub as got a chill playthrough vibe and I enjoy hearing about the little bits of trivia about this game sprinkled in which I like, thanks. I would very much enjoy a no EXP hard mode run to see how you tackle the game at some point too.

Scorpion boss was definitely in the Corel reactor! I remember seeing the model in the very top left corner when you there and went to that secret screen no one has ever seen. Nobody mentioned it and I may be crazy but I swear it was there!

I am deeply interest in a video about how to keep Aeris AND the items you collect in the Temple of the Ancient ! I was wondering if, after a Yuffie Warping taking Aeris from just before the Temple into Snowfields or even before exiting the City of the Ancient, if we could go back into this city and get Comet, another Ennemy Skill, Kujata, etc. But, yeah, the Temple of the Ancient would probably have disappeared, so no Ribbon, no Princess Guard, etc So, if there is a way to do it, and deep explanation of how it is complicated, I would take it !

So in the beginning you're talking about someone making Aerith in your party after she dies. I'd totally watch that video if you made it, even if it's convoluted!

Didn't the older new threat have a sequence where you control shinra in the temple? Or was that a different mod

It did, yeah. The older New Threat had a bunch of weird little "side quest"/"side story" things.

PS6 is another 3-4 years off. PS5 Pro is this year.

Can it really be called a 100% playthru if Aerith survives? That's pretty key to the story xD

I don't understand the obsession with keeping Aerith alive. I mean, I get she's a great character, but if she stayed alive in the story, the rest of the story doesn't make alotta sense narratively. I guess if you had multiple paths that veer off after her death I could see it, but then we're talking about a very different game imo.

@@michaelslowmin My friends, this was back 20 - 23 years ago, Middle/Highschool called me a monster because I didnt shed a tear when she died. I didnt use her, I didnt feel a connection to her really and just ultimately was like "but if they killed Barret or Tifa or Cloud it would have been sadder" With that, as I got older I understand it better but I'm right there with you, her death is necessary for the game to progress and reviving her would not make sense.

The remakes are good in their own regard, even though ps4 remake doesn't compare to rebirth, but there really is no beating the og.

You're not missing out. Even if you like action rpgs which I don't, the story is crap. I watched deaths playthrough of Rebirth and if you like action rpgs it might have OK game play but the story was also cringe.
