Agreed! I rewatched the Endwalker launch trailer to compare in retrospect, and there are elements that one could consider spoilers but they don't feel like spoilers to me at all when presented out of context. For instance, we hear a single line of Meteion's dialogue without actually seeing her. We also get a shot of Zodiark on the moon - something we all expected to encounter - without giving any indication on when this encounter would take place. I really don't think we have any idea what's actually in store for us with Dawntrail

17:57 I was looking at this again and realized that's the viper using their lb3; with the exception of Porta Decumana, lb3 is only available of trails, raids, and alliance raids where the group size is 8 or more people. Could this be a scene from another one of the dawntrail trials, since we already know Valigarmanda is a trial?

Nope, not spoilery. It's official material for one. They know better what to show and what not to - it's over a decade of experience. Most launch trailers had the final boss battle theme for example, and it consistently went over people's heads without complaints. It's a matter of ingraining key stillshots for a better payoff later for people who watch and get excited about "what could things be".

there was a reflection destroyed by levin (lightening) right? could these guys be the allagan equivalent to that reflection??? if so, perhaps THEY hold the KEY to traversing between the reflections?! did they just open up the game to infinite possibilities?! i swear if theres no boom box fashion accessory, eattaco emote (that plays ultima's theme!), or one of those hover bikes as a mount, ima riot... i mean, i dont know how or where, but i will!! and that is most certainly NOT the outfit i left Ameliance in!! also, that is Tritoch. i don't care what they call him. Biggs and Wedge, you two stay clear of that thing! it might b a stretch, but if theres no reference to ff3/6, or the esper world, ima riot s'more. well maybe not. either way, we all know that track going towards the thunder dome is meant for THE HYPE TRAIN!!!!

It just occurred to me while watching this breakdown If people played FF5 I'm sure they can surmise what they are going to do with Krile story. very interesting. Of course it's going to be different than what's it like in FF5 like FF4 and Endwalker, but I can hazard a guess of who Krile is.

Fun thing, During the cutscene when Krille was tidying up the Annex and finally opened the letter, she was musing about how it would be easier if she had a mammet around to help keep the place organised and tidy. Meanwhile, G'raha is currently standing at the Dock area in Old Sharl (around the area of the Aetherfont entrance, can't remember the exact spot) musing about how he's thinking about running Treasure maps as a new source of Income for the Students of Baldesion in his optional dialogue. Maybe he strikes it rich, buys said mammet, and leaves that to keep everything organised so he can then come over and join back up with us :P

Since we don't have the context of what is happening yet, I wouldn't say it's spoilers. If they are willing to show even the stuff they have shown, it means Dawntrail is about to be a wild one that's going to leave us with more questions than answers. That's how you get hooked lol.

Valigarmanda being trapped in Ice is a direct FF6 reference. His main attack, Tri-Disaster, unlike the SMN ability is a spell of Fire, Ice, and Lightning together. My only hope is with FF6 references I really want to see the Esper World either it be the 8-man Raid or an Eureka style zone. Solution 9 being in the sky reminds me of Cocoon from FF13, but as you said about those Invaders highly looking like the second civilization in the Dead Ends. If the key art girl is anywhat related to these guys, her talking about achievement through sacrifice fits perfectly with them nuking their home world.

I'm just not at all excited for the story anymore. I loved the ShB story, but Endwalker was just terrible after the lvl 84 quests. We were promised to break away from the scions, but we almost immediately have everyone back together and now a whole expansion with them again. Graha keeps begging to go on an adventure but we literally took him to space and met the 12 together, but that's not enough? Wuk feels like her only personality trait is wanting to be dawnservant. We should've gotten to know her more throughout post 6.0 patches, but we only got a half baked story that Square has told a million times (dark emo character learns to have feelings). I don't have any reason to be excited for in the story. I'm more excited to explore areas and see the side content/stories. Especially for content that is supposedly gonna make us chat and cooperate with other players

I m calling like some „alien“ invasion storyline like lowkey ffIx where a planet or a shard in this case gets destroyed so in order to live on they invade another world and depending on how strong they lean into the ffIX theme the cyberpunk attackers might not be „human“afterall but soul vessels or something brainwashed forces to take over the planet by an epic battle and I am so down for this. If its nearly like the ff4 and endwalker connection I am confident in at least stating that we will have to deal with some sort of evacuated or preserved people of a destroyed civilization (maybe allagans but I dont think so) who decided that they want to rebuild their civilization and unfortunately we have to die for this (like Gaia needs to become terra in ffIX)

They mentioned that it'll be a progressive change, but that it should all have been updated by 7.4 (although that could just have been the gear), but all areas, npcs and such will eventually be updated. Just not all at once

I think the game would benefit strongly from action combat. Tab Targeting does not work when playing in Mage And more so not being able to move and casting any ability within the magic classes is very crippling unless you're partied with someone to take the hits.

Have to agree with @normalmighty . Nothing is spoilery unless you havent watched/seen anything from any Fanfest and trailer since. The dialogues doesn't go with the scenes either. They take visually appealing stuff and audio interesting queues to get you hooked. But a dialogue or a sentence that gets said at the end of the trailer might very be one of the very first phrases in MSQ if that makes sense and then you'll go "ooooh thats how it was meant".

But things that were spoilered, or rather had not been shown in the PLLs as far as I've kept up with them: > green haired lady > big fucking high tech space ships invading > the city of gold very likely being Solution 9 (in retrospect maybe obvious but it coulda been a number of different things as well, including just a myth) > Solution 9 people presumably invading Tully-whatever > The entire vault situation of (presumably) Solution 9 Granted, most of these could be misleading. The invasion coulda been a thing that happened in the past. But still. In any case, *I* regret watching the trailer because *I* would've loved to see all of this *in context when it happens*, including pretty aircraft spaceship thing. I love aircraft spaceship things. This is entirely my opinion on it.
