The trick is... well, have a DoL at the same level.

​ This is the way - level your land first while specifically going for the stuff for your first crafter Then once your first crafter is at max, get the gear for them, then you can go for weekly custom deliveries using that leveled crafter for a 2nd while you go for the partnered dol quest

I use my retainers to my advantage i send them out to get what i need to craft and it take only 40 minutes and they typically bring back a good number of them

There would be my advice : IF you are rich with gil : do levequest while buying items from the MB IF you aren't rich with gil : Do your weekly custom delivery. Then do your GC turn in. Then, go with the appropriately leveled crafter quest. Then, go do the collectables that earn you the highest amount of exp for your job until you are 95, which won't be more then 30. Once there, choose your newly unlocked collectable and do 30 of them again and you will be 100. You will not have spent a single gil on anything while also getting tons of scrips, which will be used to buy, in order : - Master recipe books - The needed materia for the mid tier version of the current BiS (which will be your only realistic option if you have a life and don't wan't to spend gil on overmelding) - The materia that sells the most (you can know that by looking at what the BiS is for crafters and determine which materia will fail overmeld most often). Then, you craft a couple of orange collectables, turn them and buy the new gear, which will be used to quickly craft the new crafter gear, that you will meld and overmeld to reach your mid tier BiS. You then equip that, lali ho, you are ready for the next big crafting recipes for raider gear and food and drink. So, the difference is, state that the first method requires to already be rich, maybe in the title.

This is the way. I pay a bit for the turn ins, but everything I craft myself and saved a lot of money. I also love crafting/gathering though, so doing it by hand is fun to me.

​@@Asha414 Yea I gather or buy the materials and craft the turn in myself. I like crafting too, but I KNOW there are people who level crafting by like "crafting this item 100 times between 31-50" and that sounds terrible.

Ok so i just spammed level 91 and 95 scrip recipes to 100. It gets you leveled and you amass a butt load of materia 11 killing two birds with one stone. Cause why do double duty when you can do both at the same time.

@@DesperiusFFXIV let's just say I had 17mil from submarine loot and now I'm at 4mil lol. But I splurged on gear for leves to get wvr to 100 towards the end cause I'm impatient and needed to make the left side gear for my scrip video.

"Leveling a crafter this early consumes lots of gil." --- how if I just gather all the stuff I need on my own? Isn't that the ultimate form of leveling crafters? Gather everything you need for all recipes in your log, craft them all with HQ materials you made yourself by hand, then bask in the full inventory and the realisation that you still need to level up 3 of your 4 striking jobs to 80 to allow yourself to acutally houseclean your armory chest "cause you might need that piece of gear for that one lower level job eventually".

if people have time to wait the weekly custom delivery turn in can be a good way to get some exp. just make sure the ones your doing have crafter as enhanced experience for the week.

Expert delivery of Grand Company that reset everyday also worth doing. It's been a week now since early access, so if you buy and turn them in since first day your all DoH (+DoL) should be lv93+ by now. That save a lot of leve quota, time and gils (even you just buy everything for turn-in, it still cheaper than buying for leve at same amount of exp)

grand company daily turn-ins is also pretty good. better exp/gil ratio than leves

I am alomst through the MSQ, so i haven't done any of this yet, but i think another somewhat casual leveling method for a few crafters would be the new wachamequimequi (spelling? Lol) deliveries. I remember the studium deliveries in EW gave some great experience, but i had already leveled all job to 90 before i started those, so i missed out on that experience.

So to summaries the guide, just buy HQ items for Levequests off market board asuming you are rich Part 2, just buy HQ materials to do collections and then sell a tiny amount of materia back for money

There is no other way unfortunately, that is why I highlighted to wait, until prices drop. Gathering is the only way to make it inexpensively, or just manually craft. Just did some levels on my Leatherworker and it actually works quite well.

I recommend getting the afflatus scrip set. It'll help you craft collectables. Its from purple scrips just do your custom deliveries from previous expansions for quick scrips.

That leve quest that asks for 3 snow cotton is how I'm powerleveling my weaver from 90 (after leveling BTN to 97) Literally one ingredient and should a good start to get the rest of my crafters up
