Been given an hour for unlimited editing to a character is a blessing and should of been implemented from the start; The whole point of having to pay money to change appearance is simply so it can't be abused or stress the server too much with constantly having to update player data. Unfortunately both the Benchmark tool, character creation screen and in game editor have bad lighting options for editing.

The quality of life change that I am most excited about (funnily enough) is the fantasia, even though I rarely use them. I know I definitely will use one once the expansion as launched because I'd like my cat girl to be keeper of the moon instead of the sun. Back when I last changed her appearance, I didn't realize that only the keepers of the moon had the fangs. As for the black list changes: I think it is cool as well. I feel fortunate I haven't experienced those issues in the 7 or 8 years I've been playing this game. However, I am a little disappointed that it won't prevent the black listed player from being in a duty with you. sometimes I do black list some players because they're difficult to complete a dungeon or roulette with. This is because they are not tanking as the class is designed and is not keep aggro on adds or causing the party to wipe because they think running in wide circles with a wall to wall pull prevents them from taking damage but it pulls mobs out of dps range. The tank as well as the mob also ends up out of range so the healer can't heal them, especially while moving (this usually happens in lower level content). And then the tank insists that's it the healer's fault or the dps's fault and refuse to try a different way. This happens with dps pulling more than a tank can handle. So the new blacklist in 7.0 will prevent me from avoiding those players. But I do understand that player safety is much more important than the inconvenience of a stubborn player. It's hard for the devs to satisfy everyone. I am happy that the players who are experiencing in-game stalking and harrassment will be safer.

@@e.k.2917 Many times they'll teleport to the cities I'm in and get in the way when I'm trying to ring the retainer bell, or block my path when trying to interact with the market board. Other times they sometimes follow me around when I'm gathering, going to the nodes ahead of me to prevent me from getting them. Then there have been the times when we fall into the same group for raids, and given they play a tank (and me a healer) they will just sit there at the start and do nothing, or they'll pull mobs and mess up their rotations intentionally to make it harder for me to keep them healed. Perhaps the one that makes me nervous the most is when I log in and after awhile, they'll appear near either my or my FC house. This is all done on other characters they have made, they don't use their main to do this anymore (not sure if its due to the FC they are in, or not) Most recent was three months ago, logged in to do some story questing and they were constantly getting the way of things. I've reported it quite a few times, but the GM's don't seem to give a shit. Also, yes, I'm not mentioning the name of this person; mainly since I don't want to create anymore problems (but also because I'm well aware that they've name dropped me, but I won't stoop to their level)

my black list has been full for a few years but it's mostly full of bots. I've had to delete ones that had usernames that seemed obvious bot names to add some assholes I came across in a roulette but fortunately the assholes in this game are few and far between. At least for my experience. I feel bad for the players experiencing in-game stalking and harassment.

2:35 More immersive flying is the one I'm most excited about. I wish mounts would have more unique movement sets. Unfortunately my hopes for this change got crushed when they decided to treat them as nothing more than a skin. Imagine the depth different moves could provide to the mounts. Make flying and swimming/diving exclusive to certain types. Add more complexity to each specialisation, e.g. differentiate between floating and gliding for flying mounts, add the ability for big leaps to certain terrestrial mounts or perhaps rolling for all the spherical shaped ones. I'm aware of possible engine limitations, let alone the tremendous amount of work one might face trying to implement such a system, but I genuinely believe it would make travelling much more exciting.

One button combos is the biggest combat change ever. You can cut down the number of buttons massively and avoid pushing the wrong button, destroying your combo. Can be toggled so purists can keep the old system if they like.

Black Mage (Thaumaturge below level 30) and Monk (Pugilist below level 30) can both be frustrating in completely opposite ways, it really depends on the kind of player you are. Are you a person who likes to move around a lot? Don't play Black Mage. Are you someone who likes to stand still as much as possible? You might like Black Mage, but you'll hate melee jobs, especially Monk! Dragoon (Lancer below 30) is a pretty solid melee and getting a revamp with Dawntrail, Bard (Archer) is your only ranged physical choice at the start, and in terms of mages Summoner (Arcanist) is SUPER easy to pick up. Warrior (Marauder) is probably an easier starter tank than Paladin (Gladiator), and White Mage (Conjurer) is a much easier healer for a lot of people than Scholar (but Scholar also starts as Arcanist so if you level Summoner you automatically level Scholar and vice-versa). You can, of course, just pick up every single job on one character and figure out what you like as you go! Sprout tip: At level 15, you gain access to Hall Of The Novice, accessible from the inn at any of the three main cities. It will teach you the basics of your class type (tank, healer, melee DPS, ranged DPS, and magic DPS) as well as give you decent gear for completing all the courses. Every time you level a new class type from level 1 it's worth it running through HotN even if you already know the basics just for the gear, it'll serve you decently until around level 30 and it's pretty nice looking.

Sad part is they've already got one the dyed outfits a bit wrong. 3:31 it would be better if the vest could be dyed a different color from the rest. Vest were an expression and were often different colors than the outfit worn meanwhile 'starched' white shirts were the norm in victorian fashion so would it be with steampunk fashion.

Personally sad that 1-5 eyebrows are all some variation of: determined, focused, angry, 2 & 4 were soft (4 being higher arches).
